Workshop 4- Personality Test

This is taken from "The Plot Thickens: 8 Ways to Bring Fiction to Life" by Noah Lukeman. It's a a perfect way to make sure you've got a balanced character.

For each trait you'll rate your character from a scale of 1-10 for both the negative and postive trait. For example, if your character is a 10 on jealous and covetous, they would be a 0 on wish everyone the best. If they are 4 on cheap, they would be 6 on generous.

When you finish, add up the negative side and positive side.

4) What has this taught you about your character? It has once again proved to me that Evan is probably the biggest jerk known to man. He thinks too highly of himself and treats others without respect. This doesn’t surprise me considering I have known Evan was the biggest wanker of all time.

4) What has this taught you about your character? Honestly, not much that I didn’t know already. I knew before that Erich was the opinionated, stubborn rebellious type who was confident and secure with himself. He’s got a lot more negative traits then positive (obviously) but that just makes him that much more interesting to me.

Micha is methodical, to the letter. She's extremely analytic and usually uses logic before emotion should she be able to help it. I was actually surprised that positive came out more and by that much, even if it was a fairly even split down the middle with only a few determining factors.
