Workshop 5- Friends, Foes, and Fancy

Friends, and often enemies, will contribute to your daily life more then you would expect. Their words, actions, and sometimes even their presence will often shape out something important in your future. For this following workshop pretend that your character was given a strong truth potion and answer the following questions. Remember to be honest, even if that means revealing some secret feelings towards another.



1) Who do you consider a friend? Write down the name of each person you consider to be your friend and give a short reasoning as to why. Be sure to include all the necessary details. Maybe you could add how you became friends, or a certain incident that might have brought you closer. These are the people that etch out your social life so be sure to be thorough.

Maybe they’ve teased you throughout all your years at school? Or maybe they have the stereotypical house views. Sure they don’t seem like they’d have a significant factor, but often we find ourselves putting on a façade simply to win the heart or interest of that special someone. Write down the names of each romantic interest you have. It may be someone you are currently dating, or maybe you also have a crush on the side that you’ve been secretly keeping. Explain what had drawn you to them, and whether you believe it may be worth it or if it’s just lust. This list could quite long considering you may be attracted to many different people for many different reasons.

Kaydence Morgan – My best friend in the entire world and my kinky sister. We’ve been friends since our first year and have been inseparable because we know everything about each other. From the first moment we met, the two of us just clicked and we haven’t been apart since, even if we are beginning to drift apart in some sense. The only thing that Kay doesn’t seem to know about Cen is her siring secret which is only known by her parents and Markus.

Juliet Delia – One of Cen’s friends from when she was younger. The two talked constantly dispite the differences their house members felt they had. Over time, they grew apart and eventually the two stopped talking all together. In the last year, the two happened to run into each other and the relationship that had once been covered was finally out in the open again.

Keara Sonnet - Fellow vampire, awesome person, and sexy Slytherin. We met and sort of clinged because of our vampire traits. They brought us together and formed a bit of a friendship based on that similarity. Best friends? No. Close, but no. Just friends but it's not bad to be just friends, is it?

Evan McBain - Really want to kno why I hate him? It's because he's been an annoying prat since we met. He couldn't leave well enough alone when we first met in the forest. He had to completely drag out the conversation into a rivalry. And, soon after, come to find out he began dating Kaydence. Wrong move.

Cleary McBain – Reasons a plenty. She stole away Shane, ruined my day on more then one occasion, and just so happens to be my roommate. One that I hate on top of that.

Sophie Nicholson, Anna Diggory - I have no idea where our hate relationship came from but I do know that I hate her with a strong passion. She better not cross my path again.

Maeve O’ Conner – Could this girl get anymore annoying? She completely ruins any event as soon as she comes into view, not to mention she seems to hate Kaydence, reason enough for me to hate her.

Currently, Centara’s only love interest is Jayden Sanchez. The two have a history involving him cheating on his girlfriend with Cen. The two had gotten distant after the event but after a club meeting, they’re getting back into things. It’s more like a fling then an actual relationship.

Shane Hardy- The man has been one of the very few people that has been there for me if I ever needed it. Which wasn't often but If I did. We met a few years back at a pub and hit it off. Sure, he's been gone for awhile but we're still close. Thats got to mean something

Gillian Brownstone- She's one of the few girls I don't want to shag and leave, sure she's very shaggable but she's a friend. One of the few that can keep her alcohol. We work together and don't talk much outside of the bar scene.

Warren Wilkes Been his best friend since childhood, they have been through thick and thin together. There is literally nothing that can tear them apart. Not distance, not talking for years on end. But they will always be just as close whenever they get back together.

Grace Patterson As angry as he might be, as bitter as his feelings are toward her she is and will always be one of his best friends in the entire world. Since she's back and attempting to convince him that she's not going to leave again, he's starting to forgive her.

Lavinia Marcriles She helped him propose to his wife. While she hasn't been heard from in a long time she will still have a place in his heart.

Damien Monroe Even if they don't do anything more than just drinking, it's still a good time.

All the girl's he's slept with ever had a wicked grudge against him because he doesn't ever call them back. But most recently

Aurora Sawyer- She's a gryffindor that I luckily didn't gain a disease from. She's got an attidude problem, and I normally wouldn't have come within a foot of her if I hadn't been drunk and she wasn't easy.

Philip Watson- The man is the bane of my existance, sure we got into a scrap at Hell one night, but he's hurt one of the only people in my life I care about. That doesn't sit well with me.

Tristan Stavros He's a prat. If I could literally shove him off of a speeding train into sharp, jagged rocks. I would.

Darren Morgan Dark Lord, or no Dark Lord he hurt Kaydence and threatened her life. For that, I cannot let him live.

Ash loves girl, just about every girl, any girl. However, he doesn't really have strong feelings for very many of them. There have only been two girls in the course of his life that he's cared about with genuine, I-don't-just-want-to-shag-you feelings.

Cleary McBain- It was her sarcasm and way she drank herself stupid and still managed to zing him with her wit that got him initially interested. She's attractive and fun to be around.
Georgie Watson- Initially it was just a hook up that he wanted all of those years ago, just something to get his mind off of the world, only she turned out to be so much more. She stuck with him after all of his stupid tendencies and his insecurities. She's a real woman. Not just one of the girls, Georgie is the only girl he can tolerate for longer than one night. He took a beating for her and still is around. He figures that's got to mean something. She is he only woman he has ever felt like he needed to protect, to take care of. And the only woman that he has ever fallen for in his life.

Kaydence Morgan Well, this is just too complicated to explain properly. It was supposed to start out as just a hook up, just something to pass the time and keep his busy, then it turned into a conquest he just had to have her, whenever that didn't work...he was forced to realize that he had real feelings for her, far stronger than he would like to admit.

Marlon Wagner – This bloke’s been my best mate ever since he came to Galaxia. At first I thought he was nothing more than a pompous prat who was just another thickheaded guy who thinks he can get every witch in the school. I was surprised to find that he wasn’t like most of the jerks around here. I found that out one day after going on a rant about how everyone at the school was Satan and caught him laughing at my remarks. We started talking and somehow managed to become friends. We became best mates pretty quickly and remain best mates. We don’t hang out as much anymore since he’s got his old flame back in his life and an internship at the Ministry, but I suppose it’s alright. It was bound to happen anyway.

Autumn Stanton – Autumn’s perhaps the only girl I can get along with simply because she’s not like the others. She doesn’t care about spending hours upon hours in front of a mirror, its only about an hour now since she’s dating Marlon again, making herself out to be some prime target for any bloke she passes or seeing how long she can keep her legs open. Not to mention, she’s almost exactly like me, except much more reserved, quiet, shy and active whereas I am completely the opposite. I really hope she doesn’t change.

Centara Zealon – I’ve said girls are Satan’s spawns but none exemplifies this more than Zealon. In fact, I’m pretty sure she IS Satan. I’ve never met someone in my entire life who is as rude, stuck-up, whorish, egotistical, drama-queenish and plain out annoying as she is. That’s really saying a lot considering the people I’ve come across. I’ve had the unfortunate luck of being alongside her this year as Head Boy (how in the hell she even got to be Head Girl I don’t even know) and I’m pretty sure that’s added to my hatred of being Head Boy in the first place. I frequently do what I can to annoy the hell out of her to amuse myself and try and put her in the place. It hasn’t worked yet, but I’m trying.

Cillian Doyle – I haven’t seen him around for a few months now but that hasn’t stopped my hatred for him. I knew there was something I didn’t like about the bloke from the first time I saw him and that only proved to be right. It bothered me when he started hanging around Autumn since he’s not only a spoiled prat but also a woman-lover. Basically the type that didn’t need to be around a girl like Autumn. He backed away after awhile and pursued that dingbat Morgan after awhile. I hope this one gets sent off to Azkaban.

Damien Monroe – The mention of his name makes me want to gag. We haven’t officially met, but that doesn’t make me not hate him. He’s a male version of Zealon except more attention needing and in need of AA. I hope he drowns in a vat of sherry.

Elizabeth LeGrand – The woman hates me, I know it. Why else would she keep me as Head Boy when I’m clearly not Head Boy material? She really needs to get her priorities straight. Either that or be replaced by a Headmistress who actually knows what the hell she’s doing.

Delilah Perduto – STAY AWAY FROM AT ALL COSTS. This witch is psycho. I’m not even joking. I haven’t seen her around for awhile now, but I’m not letting my guard down. I’m pretty sure she’s just plotting her next move since she’s in love with me. This girl absolutely terrifies me.

Gillian Brownstone – Here’s another fangirl who can’t seem to get it through her mind that I hate her. She’s another one I frequently insult for spending more time with her legs open then with something actually worthy. I don’t know what intrigues her so much about me but I wish I knew so I could stop it before it gets any worse.

Maeve O’Connor – She’s another psycho who has some odd obsession with me. I don’t know what it is with these brods. This one scares me a lot though since she could easily hex me with some Merlinawful spell that would paralyze me. I have to be slightly nice to her so I can keep my head.

Tristan Stavros – This prat gets a kick out of teasing me whenever he gets the chance. He thinks he so bloody great because he’s Greek and is damn good at Qudditch. I hope he falls off his broomstick during a match. That’d be great. I probably wouldn’t be able to stop laughing for at least a week.

[Gavin Dewhurst]

Regulus Reinbach - They were forced together for Quidditch, and through mutual friends and something good came out of it. As cynical as Reg can by whenever he wants to be, he's a good man.
Minka Carpenter - Their convieniently timed heart break helped them bond. Their love of Physical activity and Quidditch helped out in his final year. they aren't exactly close, but he doesn't hate her.
Avery Rowe - Less of a friend, and more of a tolerance. he can only listen to her talk for so long...but she's always come through for him whenever he needed something. She's the perfect person to call whenever he needed an alibi or cover story of some sort. She's not a bad Quidditch player either.
Sura Haughton - An unlikely pairing. Perhaps the only one night stand that he cares to continue on. If he's honest with himself, he likes the consistency in his life of her repeated performances. Of course, they aren't sleeping together any longer. Since they learned of one another's secrets, an oddly close friendship was formed.

Wilhelm Hausler - It's not so much that Gavin has enemies. Because honestly, Hausler could be wiped off the face of the earth tomorrow and it wouldn't cause Gavin any more joy, or any grief by him no longer being around. Simple put, he's like a gnat that just buzzes around Gavin's head all of the time and is a constant annoyance. It's like the boy has nothing better to do than annoy him, almost to the point that he seems a little too obsessed. Perhaps he's just that jealous of the fact that Gavin's better at almost everything than him. Who knows. He's like a roach that refuses to squash.
Lucinda Belrose/Dewhurst - Gavin doesn't hate her. He just cannot find a reason to like her. She's stunning, tiny and perfect in almost every way. Except that she's not the person that he wants to be with and he cannot help but to resent her for that.

Amina Krane - The one woman that he would consider turning his back on his family for. The second woman in his life that he had ever kissed and would rather keep it that way. While he cannot admit it to himself in such a simple term, but she's the love of his life.
Sura Haughton - Gavin has always, and will continue to be attracted to Sura. Not always on a Physical level, but there's something about her that he likes. She's good company. Perhaps he cannot just sort out his platonic feelings from those that he harbors from all of their naked times together, but he doesn't exactly feel the need to either. A little flirting never hurt anybody.

Annie Andres. I consider her to be the only person that I could currently give the title to. I mean, we're not super close, but she's better than a lot of the other women in my life. She's not the dating type. She's a much better listener. Like a real person. I've known her for forever. She moved in down the road from my family whenever she was like...seven or something and had been practically living at my house ever since. Not a bad thing, she's a good chick.

The Twins. I'm friendly enough with my brothers in the way that we can talk, but that's more that I'm their friend than they are my friend. They talk to me, I don't really talk to them. I talk about them often enough though.

Apollo Erikson, he used to be my best mate before he decided to be a git. We met first year on the train, were sorted into the same house and have been living in beds next to each other for seven years. It only made sense to talk to the guy. He just started acting strange, guess he decided that he was interested in in Annie, or something and that means that he cannot talk to me anymore? If he's going to be an arse I'm not going to put up with his shit. So. Cross him off of the list. The other blokes in the dorm aren't all that bad, they are good enough for a conversation or something given that we've been living together or the past seven years.

Don't waste my time with hate, really. I suppose I could count Annie's family on that list, if I really had to. They are just about the only people that I know that I dislike. I might not like everybody, but I don't dislike them.

Do I fancy someone? I fancy women with legs mate. All women, of all shapes and sizes I have room for them. Seriously. I haven't met a pair that I don't like. I've dated more than I should have, I know that I should worry more about my studies than I do, but boarding school is a gift. Even more so since this is coed. What a gift co-ed is. Just broke up with whats her face over the summer, so I'm all about the mingling.

[Michkayela Drakonas]

1) Who do you consider a friend? 

Robert O'Conner- "Roberto? He's my oldest friend. Really. I cannot remember a time before I knew him, one of the first faces imprinted on my memory. He was actually a pain in the ass for the longest, always teasing me- always keeping me in check and hunting me down. But he helped take care of the other kids. And made me laugh. And helped me out when I got scraped up or something happened. With all the years of no contact, and the lies created to keep us apart- both past and recent- it's a shocker really that we're even still friends. But Roberto? He understands me and we coexist really well. He's my- well I suppose you could go so far as to say that he is my best friend. Hands down. Yes, that's a fair assumption." 

Ashton Wentworth- "Oh, I don't know- that is, I'm not sure he would approve of the word friend being used, but we get along well enough, political alliances aside. He's difficult and we weren't close when we were younger, really the only reason we have a renewed acquaintanceship now being shared friends and interests but- isn't that the definition of friendship?" 

Warren Wilkes- "Warren is one of those rare men that you can not help but to like. He's very easy to talk to. Always willing to help out when needed, and without having to be asked a good deal of the time. It was accident, really, the two of us meeting like we did. I hired him for the annual Charity Gala a little while back, and that just kind of fell into place."

"I don't have any one I consider a personally enemy actually. I'm sure I'm on several other people's list but that is business. Family business. There's no one I have a vendetta against or feel has wronged me that isn't... unable to be dealt with."

Sebastian Verhoeven-"My boyfriend? Yes, we live together. Met through family actually. Approved. We're comfortable, easy, we fit. It makes perfect sense. Admittedly I didn't think that I would actually want to be with someone my grandmother approves so strongly of but there are emotional ties in place as well and like I said, it's easy."

Robert O'Conner- "I- what? No, that's nonsense. Roberto is my bestfriend and that is where that line is drawn. I may have had some sort of a school girl crush on him back in the day and some residual feelings because of that can pop up at random moments. We are just bestfriends however."
