OVERALL DESCRIPTION: Keara stands at 5’3”. She has a petite frame that does not intimidate many people. However, her body does not show the underlying muscles that have been built up over her multiple lifetimes. Her skin is pale but she attempts to keep an enchantment that helps her not look so dead. Her eyes are black, but in times of extreme emotion, they get a red hue, a trait of all vampires. Unlike others, she’s more able to control it thanks to her years of experience.
She is a classy girl and dresses that way. You will rarely find her in attire that says otherwise. Although, she does have her moments where she dresses down and does not look like she will be going to dinner or a club. Those days are mostly when she is working.

OVERALL PERSONALITY: Prior to shutting down her emotions, Keara was kind and caring. She still had the vampire characteristics, meaning she still killed, but she had compassion for others. Feelings were things she tried to hold on to and replicate in herself so be more acceptable in society. Now, there is very little personality left. Keara has become the stereotypical vampire. She kills when she feels any twinge of thirst, and does not regret doing so. Her attitude towards those she has made friends with is sarcastic yet playful. If there was one word to sum her up, it was that she loves to play with her food.

OVERALL HISTORY:
Before the Great Depression hit America and Hitler decided to take control of the muggle Germany, Europe had been in a thriving economy. At least that’s what everyone wanted people to believe. Truth was, during this time, things were not nearly as good as the government let people believe. The Magical World failed to inform people of how they were losing control over the population of vampires and werewolves. Populations had doubled in the last five years and it was because there was no statute to keep them from turning muggles without recourse. During that time, plenty of women were killed as they were the easiest prey and tended to have the most flavorful of all blood. However, one fateful day, not long after the 1922 new year in Ravenna, Italy, one woman had been walking down the street with her husband. Her belly was much larger than a woman of that era would normally have, but it wasn’t because she had eaten too much. Rather, it was because she was 7 months pregnant. They laughed as they walked down the street, talking about their future and how their child would be raised in a loving home. The husband would go and work to bring home the money while the wife would stay home to take care of their unborn child. They had everything figured out.
That was until they took a turn down an alley that was a shortcut to their home. They did not think anything different of taking this shortcut than they did any other day, for they didn’t notice the group of men at the end of the alleyway. The men noticed them, however. It did not take long for them to kill the husband and have the wife near death. They didn’t kill her, however. They wanted to keep her for their own pleasure. There were not many female vampires in that time and they needed another to have along with them. So instead, they sired her without thought of what would happen to her unborn child. Fast forward a week. The woman was in her bed, screaming in agony with no one around to help her. The vampires had left her when they realized that there was a reason vampires weren’t usually female; they tended to be very emotional. Fast forward another two days. A baby lay in a pile of ash on the bed, crying for her dead mother. A vampire was not meant to have a child due to the dead organs, and because of the situation, the baby had actually managed to kill her own mother, draining her of any life-force she had. A neighbor had heard the crying when she arrived home that night, deciding quickly that she was not able to take care of the child. Instead, she took the child with a blanket embroidered with her name and a single picture of her parents on their wedding day, the date and their names printed on the back, to a foster care home. She hoped the baby would be treated well.
Seven years later. The baby had been in foster care her entire life, passed around from family to family, but she didn’t know the difference. Most of the time she was in her room alone. Venturing out into the sun always made her feel sick and uncomfortable, keeping her from going to school. The families could not understand what was wrong. Sometimes in the morning, they would wake up to find the girl was gone, but Keara would have no recollection of where she went when she would return to the home. They did not know how to deal with a child that didn’t eat, didn’t sleep, and never listened to a single word they said. When the economy crashed in America, it hit Europe hard. People were living on the streets as they lost their homes and attempting to find any sort of scraps of food they could find. Keara had realized at that moment, she didn’t need people if others were living on the streets. She could do that. When she decided to do so, that was when she had met a vampire and realized what she was.
For the next few years, she spent the bulk of her time training and learning the ways of a vampire. During her spare time, she used the only clues she had, the picture and the blanket she had been left with, to track down any information she could find out about her family. The vampires she had spent time with were not wizards so she was surprised when she tracked down the woman that had turned her over to the foster care agency and learned that her parents had magical blood. That was when she learned, not only was she a vampire, but also a witch. However, despite that knowledge, she did not use her magic very often, unable to control it when she did. After a few accidents, she decided that if magic was going to be a part of her life, she would have to wait until she had some sort of formal training. That would take plenty of time.
For years, Keara would hide during the day, usually in an apartment or a bar or even in alley’s on the street. At night, she would work at restaurants or bars, earning enough money to get the things she required including housing and clothing. She traveled over her years and it wasn’t until she reached England that she figured out how to better fit into society. Keara enrolled into magical school in England where she met some of her closest friends. The Drunken Quartet had been formed and her life turned from being her on her own, to now having people to spend her time with. They didn’t seem to mind that she as a vampire and they never treated her any different than they would treat anyone else, with the exception of spending time trying to get her drunk. She attempted to play along so they wouldn’t be so bummed when she had downed multiple bottles of whiskey and did not feel a single thing.
Not long after she had begun that school, Damien, who had been her closest friend out of the quartet, had left. For some reason, she felt a loss when he left and did no longer feel a pull to England. He had been the only reason she stuck around. Because of that, she decided it was time to move on. School was not important to her so she took a few months off, travelling around Europe some more before making her way to Austria. She didn’t realize it, but somehow she had managed to find Damien Monroe again. Once she enrolled in Galaxia, her life became that much more interesting. She had met Centara, the remainder of the quartet made their way to Austria, and she actually had a home where there were people that she cared about. Austria had now become her favorite place to be.
It wasn’t until the war began that things started to go downhill. She refused to choose a side in the war, not wanting to face the fact that she wasn’t good enough for either side. No one knew it, but Keara was not much of a witch. She had been trained to be a vampire and that was what she did best. Even despite her schooling, she had only mastered a few spells, and those were only the one’s that helped her hide better in society. Her lack of magical skills was not the only reason she refused to pick a side in the war, however. She agreed with two of the three sides, but on the third was Damien. How could she ever go against him? Then there was the Ministry who had society’s best interests in mind, even if they did restrict vampires and their abilities. However, Centara was the one she agreed with the most. The vampire wanted to get rid of the Ministry to get rid of the rules and to remove the wall dividing the two societies, muggle and magical. Keara agreed with wanting to be rid of the Ministries rules and to have the societies live together, but she was still unable to go against the other two sides. She had Damien on one hand and Tristan on the other. With the pending battle, she was getting more stressed by the day as she realized soon she was going to have to make a choice.
The Battle of Gringott’s in August of 2011 threw Keara’s world into a tailspin. Her relationship with Tristan had ended when she had saved him from the killing curse, revealing what she truly was. At the same time, her body she had kept perfect for ninety years had been damaged by the swipe of Isis Moswen’s paw. She was now branded with long werewolf claw marks down her right arm. It had taken three weeks for her and Tristan to mend their relationship, during which time she had taken to spending time with Damien once again, the only person who still had done nothing to harm her and she had done nothing but harm him. Once she and Tristan had become an item again, Damien was pushed to the side again without even a second thought. It wasn’t until the Gala when Keara overheard a plan to take down the vampires and DeathEaters in the room that Keara remembered her friends whom she had left behind for this one man. It didn’t take long for her to inform both Centara and Damien of the possibility of an ambush. As she was placing a kiss on Damien’s cheek as a good-bye for now, Tristan had found them. The ending result was a messy break-up and Keara was once again thrown into a slump.
While on the balcony, sulking in her own misery and waiting till she could muster up the strength to leave the Gala, she had met Torsten, an age old vampire with some words of wisdom. He had explained what it took to turn off the emotional part, the part that shouldn’t exist in a vampire but was still there nevertheless. A week later, Keara had no emotion left, no feelings. To solidify the new vampire, she returned to her parents’ home in Ravenna and brought it and all of the neighboring buildings to the ground. After killing half of the town, Keara left everything she knew in the cloud of dust from the fallen buildings. Transylvania is where she currently lives, living out the vampire dream.
