Damien Liam Monroe
October 31, 1987
Damien stands in at 6’2. He’s got a head full of dark brown hair with eyes to match. The ladies love his pearly whites and fit build thanks to the occasional hour or two in the gym. He always has a mischievous look about him, but this could be because he is drunk ninety five percent of the time. As a result of drunken antics gone awry, he recently added two tattoos to his left wrist. The first one is a cannon, which he has no explanation form. The other is in a different language but says 'Know Thyself'.

Friends:
--Jackson Caulfield--
Damien and Jackson were inseperable during their youth. You could literally not invite one without the other showing up alongside. Caulfield and him were two peas in a pod. They were each other's wingmans. The definition of a bromance. However, once his best mate upped and left with Liese a few months after the Minister's Masquerade, a void was left behind. Damien has been searching for that replacement for years now but never quite able to find someone to take his place. But he didn't have too. Cauliflower showed up out of the blue in September of 2011 and things had a way of picking themselves up right where they had been left, with a natural smack to the face of his treacherous friend of course.
--Annaliese Kraylons--
Liese makes his life hell, mostly because she doesn't put up with his crap. The two butt heads way more often then Kea and Jackson, but that's how its always been. When it all boils down to it, she knows he always has her back and she struggle to have his.
--Kaydence Morgan--
Damien met Kaydence through Evan. First impressions didn’t go well between the two due to two’s arrogance, but the relationship bettered as time went on. Damien considers Kaydence to be his babysitter when no one else will come and pick him up after getting thrown out of a bar. He still thinks that she is conceited and a bitch, but has a soft spot in his heart for the brat. He hasn’t seen her since her rumored return, but always keeps his ears open for that shrill voice she gets when she’s upset.
--Keara Sonnet--
Keara is Damien’s oldest friend. He met his luscious vamp back in London when the two were attending the founding Hogwarts school. Although he was shocked upon learning of the ‘real’ Kea, he quickly accepted her for the person she was and the two have kept their friendship since. Their relationship can be described as best friends, friends with benefits, brother and sister, and anything else along those lines. Damien would do anything for Kea. As of this point, she is the only remaining friend that he sees as close to daily as they can possibly get.
--Ashton Wentworth--
Ashton was Damien and Jackson’s dorm mate at Galaxia and unknowingly, the victim of many late-night drunken pranks of the two. They had never been close during school because of Damien’s close friendship with Caulfield, but never had a problem with each other. Damien was surprised upon receiving an invitation to Wentworth’s nuptials after their seventh year, but once hearing that their entire class had been invited, chalked the man up to be nothing more than a good acquaintance. He wasn’t the greatest guest at the man’s wedding considering he nearly cleaned out the open bar and attributed that to the lack of communication between the two after. Recently, the two met again during a friendly bet at Procter’s Pool Hall. An inevitable friendship is expected due to the void Caulfield left behind in Damien’s life.
--Centara Zealon--
Centara is Damien’s second favorite vamp. She is also the only girl who intimidates him. They met at Galaxia and similar to his relationship with Kea, are friends with benefits. Back at school, the two frequently went out for drunken escapades. They haven’t spoken in awhile, but hopes Centara knows he is only an owl post away from having a good time.

Important history?
Damien Monroe is more complex then he lets on. Behind the glazed over eyes that most are used to seeing lies a dark history that he’d prefer to keep to himself.
Damien Liam Monroe was an accident that was born in Galway, Ireland on Halloween 1987 to an Irish man and Bulgarian woman. His birth brought the two parents together and they wed before his first birthday. He was three when his younger brother Nolan was born. From a young age Damien has been a troublemaker. In grade school, he was sent home with disciplinary notes from his teachers on a daily basis. No matter how many lectures or punishments he received, Damien never changed. He just learned to alter his personality to whoever he was around. He had his first drink at eleven, thanks to his father, and started out as just a family-functions drinker.
Damien was a doting and protective older brother. Nolan and him were usually inseparable. The two brothers were polar opposites. Damien was loud, obnoxious and always getting into trouble. Nolan was quiet, studious and an all-around good kid. Yet somehow they managed to form a close brotherly bond that was able to withstand many testing times. When Damien was fourteen and Nolan eleven, Nolan was killed after a case of mistaken identity. Damien had insisted his younger brother go with him to an old, deserted house in the Dublin countryside that was rumored to be host to an array of DeathEater gatherings. The childlike curiosity and sense of adventure got the best of him. After much coaxing, Nolan agreed and the two made the trip to the house. The two boys waited for any sign of life and upon seeing none, entered the house. Within the confines of the house the two discovered several pieces of Dark Arts memorabilia and like youth do, stayed around to play with what they found. It was when they were in the house that, unknowing to them, a rogue, mentally unstable Auror who had been fired from the Ireland Ministry of Magic after several arrests of unsuspecting citizens who he claimed to be DeathEaters, but were found not to be, approached the house. He had seen the two through a window and assumed them to be members of the Dark Lord’s army after seeing their dark cloak. The Auror entered the house on a whim and began shooting spells without warning. Nolan was hit by a stray spell and fell. Another spell hit the ceiling of the home, conveniently on top of Nolan, and it collapsed, killing his brother instantly. Once calming down, the Auror noticed Damien and the small leg that protruded from the wooden pile. He fled the scene instantly knowing that he had once again affected another innocent life. Damien did his best to free his brother’s body from the piles of wood, but was unsuccessful. He left the house soon after and ran away, swearing never to return home again.
Since then, Damien has not been the same. He continues to carry the guilt of his brother’s death on his shoulders. After the incident and fleeing the country, he found himself in London where strangely, the magical owls of Hogwarts had found him and offered him enrollment to the prestigious school. He remained there for two years before growing bored with his surroundings. Joined with his friend Keara Sonnet, Damien ran off to Austria, with their friends Annaliese and Jackson following close behind. He enrolled in Galaxia and finished his school years there with his trusted group of friends. His reputation also followed and Damien does his best to keep it up. He is a well-known member of the Austrian social scene, mostly thanks to his alcoholic tendencies and appeal with the female population. He hopes that by this, people will be more focused on his outward appearance. He prefers for people to not take him seriously because if they didn’t, they would want to know the man behind the bottle of sherry. Damien has no interest in anyone knowing about his life before Austria. For the few that do ask him, he simply responds that he’s never had a life outside of his love for sherry and freshly baked éclairs.
As a result of his brother’s death, Damien has joined sides with the Dark Lord to avenge the Ministry for their Magical Law Enforcement unit. He has no other reason for choosing the Dark side besides hoping that this will give him a peace of mind that he is doing Nolan’s memory justice and can somehow make up for being the reason his brother is dead.
