Thoughts on Family:
"I guess it could be considered hard, to hold the position of the eldest Maddock child. The first born to such a pretentious bloodline is always scrutinized more than any of the other siblings. My parents however, were rather, typical I guess. Instilling the proper values and ruling over the house with an Iron fist. As the eldest, they had to be a bit harder than needed...trial and error if you will. By the time Aiden was born a year later, they had become familiar with what works and what doesn't. However, having two brothers this close in age will lead to typical mischief. The phrase 'boys will be boys' doesn't cover the damage we've caused to the mansion...By the time dear Elladora was born, both Aiden and myself were old enough to know how to act around females. I guess I'm more 'protective' of her than I should be. But, somebody must be. If she steps out of line, I'll be the first to push her back onto the line. We're a very private family...what happens within the walls of our house isn't meant to be spilled all across the front page of the prophet. One of the first things my father taught me."
Personality:
Adonis is one of a kind. Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hide comes to mind. He's everything a well brought up pureblood should be. He upholds morals(as warped as they may be) follows orders, and is the picture perfect Maddock child. Passing him on the street, you might not be able to keep your eyes from him. The confidence he upholds is overly evident. The way that he walks, and greets those in his acquaintance is pleasant. In this day and age, he must be. If there was one thing his father had taught him better than anything else, it was to keep your friends close, and your enemies closer. He holds his father in a very high respect, even if he was the only one who isn't the spitting image of him. He tends to use the fact that not all people know him as 'Maddock' to his advantage. Gaining information, their trust. He calls almost everybody by their surname, as has been a practice in the Maddock line for many generations. Due to his natural liking for politics, he's made contacts with a group of choice Ministry workers, discussing the flaws in the system. Had he chosen that path, Adonis would have done very well in the Ministry, sadly though he was raised, as all good pureblood's should be, with a hearty disliking for muggles. He doesn't much care what happens to them, thus making it hard to sympathize with them...thought for the sake of the public, he does try. Truthfully, he couldn't care less. He has a passion for classical music, of the french persuasion in particular, and even knows enough of the language to speak conversationally. Which would be how he gets most of the women, who do not speak, even English, properly. He'll whisper soft nothings into their ears...or what they think is sweet. When in fact, he can be telling them they look like a garbage can.
However, in secret he isn't like the image he displays in public. In all truths, he's a rather slippery bastard. Will use everything you say against to to better himself. He's a smooth talker, and never begs. He has a way of getting people to do things for him, because they think that they want to do it. It's all a part of his awkward Charm. If he's smiling, that would be the biggest clue that he's lying. Adonis is a quick learner, passionate as long as the subject holds his interest. He proudly holds the ability to read people, not always accurately. He can make himself seem like the most important person in the world, most intelligent but it's only just a ruse. Arrogance will be the downfall of him, and the inability to handle criticism.
Appearance:
He doesn't look like a Maddock. His hair might be blonde, but it's far from platinum. He doesn't have the chiseled features to his face and his eyes are a hazel rather than the piercing grey. His mouth just wasn't built for smiling. While, he can and will smile...it doesn't look natural and the way it tugs at his face is almost frightening. His eyes are a bit sunken into his face, and his hair covers his forehead. So, by far, his nose is the most prominent of his facial features. Overall, he gives off an awkward glow. His shoulders hunch almost all the time, due to a curvature of his spine. Physically, he isn't the strongest, nor the most attractive to look at. But the combined package is something you can't tear away from. His arms are the only thing holding significant physical strength. His skin, though unblemished, is somewhat on the pale side. He can't tan, but can turn red quickly in the sun for to long.
He wears mostly black. Normally pale people shy away from dark colors, the lack of color attracts the sun's heat and makes them more apt to burn. Plus, it only magnifies the scarce pigment in their skin.and draws usually unwanted and negative attention to the wearer. Yet, he wears it almost every day...never as a whole outfit. Perhaps a jacket, shirt or pants..but not all at the same time. Adonis wears black because it's formal. Adonis will never be caught looking shoddy, nor less than pleasant. He'd rather be overdressed than casual. Only on highly rare occasion does he wear jeans. When he does, it's not the typical light blue kind, riddled with holes like most people consider to be 'fashion' they will be of a dark dark blue wash, or black.

History:
A soft breeze, the sun was bright. Grass the perfect shade of green, the sun was bouncing off of the white paint coating Maddock Manor.Everything was perfect, to perfect. It was almost as if the earth was attempting to compensate for the atrocity being born. Adonis was an unattractive child at best. He'd had many complications in his birth, the least of which was his curved spine. Though, with the best healers galleons could buy, most of his problems had been solved. However, there were physical components that they couldn't, and wouldn't fix. Such as his larger than life ears. From the day he was born, his mother would tell him how unattractive he was. He was a Maddock her Merlin's sake! They only accepted the best...being less than perfect wasn't acceptable. At least, not in Daphne's eye's. His father however, took the initiative and used the fact that people weren't coming around to see that 'beautiful baby' to start instilling Adonis with the really important things, the important morals.
Only a year after Adonis was born, Aiden came. Out of the two, Aiden was always the more attractive one, he looked far more like his father. Platinum blonde hair, the piercing eyes, Tall and lanky, or so he would grow up to be. Throughout childhood, Adonis was 'teased' by the little muggles for his ears, which only increased his hatred for anybody non-wizarding...and non-pureblood for that reason. He felt like, now that he had a reason...it was justified. However, on his fourth birthday, he was sent off to a pure blood preschool. Of course he couldn't do magic...but he was going to be taught the joys of all things magical. At the age of five, his sister was born. He took a liking to her, feeling that she needed to be protected from the filthy muggles. He felt that, he was the biggest teacher she could ever have.
However, as was the tradition in the family, Elladora was to be taught at home, while the boys were sent off to private schools. Adonis took a liking to Quidditch, but it never was a strong suit for him. He played the position of beater, which was the only spot on the team that he excelled at. Adonis was very motivated intellectually. He passed his exams, and was able to retain more information than most of the other students. Which was scary for him, because once he got to Hogwarts...he was frightened that he was going to be sorted into Ravenclaw...focusing on his intellect. However, this wasn't the case. He, like all other Maddock's, had to of been sorted into Slytherin...like those before him, the hat hadn't even touched his head before shouting his house placement.
His years in Hogwarts were pleasant ones. As Aiden was only a year younger, Adonis didn't take the claim of 'Slytherin king' rather he handed it over to Aiden willingly. Adonis was far more comfortable behind the scenes, he considered himself more of a 'puppet master' of Slytherin rather than the king. After all, the King needs advisers, and everybody knows they have the real control. As far as romance goes, he was never in want for female company but it wasn't in abundance. He had a couple relationships. That right, this Maddock had relationships, not endless names inside a black book, or a bedpost so notched up it was at risk for falling over. He's had fewer lovers in his seven years, than Aiden did in his third month. By his own choice of course.
While in school, he briefly considered a career in the Ministry, he didn't agree with anything that the Ministry stood for, but the position of power was something that he was after. Adonis knew that if he were to accept any number of the positions that the ministry scouts were offering him, he would rise the ladder quickly. With his O.W.L and N.E.W.T scores, he could have done anything. Alas, that wasn't the path that he was to choose. As the first born of such a wealthy family, he didn't take a job. Instead, he devoted the first few years outside of school to making 'friends' establishing contacts, doing 'favors' so people would constantly owe him something. He thrived in secrets and lived for the Black market, it wasn't long before he progressed up to contract killings. It was a thrill for him, since his family was constantly under public scrutiny, the sneaking around and making side money to add to his otherwise generous piles of wealth. It wouldn't be long before he looked for more high profile contracts, his reputation generally preceding him, and that's how he landed here in Austria, he had heard whispers of the Dark Lord sneaking about, and he was more than happy to lend his overly helping hand.
