(This is incredibly rough read at your own peril. just don't judge me)

Kohl Dresner
Giovanna Dresner (nee Caetani)
Pets:
Owl, Euripedes
Hobbies:
Quidditch, Dueling, Reading, Drinking...Ect.
Personality and Traits:
Maverick is clever, he's intelligent and he knows it. He is also quite arrogant which lends itself to an almost illogical stubbornness and incredible sense of pride. Respect is important to Maverick and he can be easily offended. He lives pretty strongly by a moral code, though the 'morals' are loosely defined and he sees no rule without it's exception(s) He doesn't trust easily, but if you do manage to get close his loyalty is unfaltering. Not one of the lucky few? He'll step on your head to get a leg up.
Favorite Animal:
Favorite Colour:
Red (Darker shades preferred)
Favorite Subject:
Transfiguration
Friends in Austria:
"Friends" is such a strong word
Physical Description:
Maverick stands at about 6ft tall, lean, but muscular, he makes sure of that. Being a wizard he never felt much use for lifting weights and becoming a gorilla, but he demands his body be kept in peak physical condition. (after all, not all fights involve wands an incantations and one must be able to hold their own.) His hair is brilliantly blond, and his eyes a pale piercing blue
Picture Of Your Character (If Available):
Important History?
Maverick is the product of the union between two well respected families the Dresner's of a proud German background and the Caetani's of Italy. Born and raised around the Germany-Austria border, his summers were spent on the coast of Northern Italy. Both his parents were extremely proud of their 'pure' heritage (though each family had slipped significantly from it's once great status.) As such they were disappointed to watch their eldest son get sorted into Ravenclaw upon arriving at Hogwarts Galaxia.
Maverick himself didn't mind much, he was a bookworm and looked good in blue (after all it did match his eyes.) He spent most of his first two years in the library earmarking spellbooks and copying potion formulas to parchment. By the time he reached his third year he could no longer be held by the library walls. He tried out for the house quidditch team and made it as a chaser. Mav had been flying for as long as he could walk and picked up quidditch at age 5, but for his first two years considered it a lesser pursuit than his studies. By third year he was ahead in all his classes and was willing to offer his services to what had been a horrible squad graduating two chasers and a keeper.
After third year Maverick moved to Seeker. His sole year at Chaser received mixed reviews. He lead the team in scoring, even setting a then house record of 100 points in a single game. Unfortunately his high scoring numbers were typically due to an unwillingness to pass that only grew worse as the season moved on. The next year Mav would try out and win the open Seeker job. His flashy flying and need to control the game were now benefits rather than detriments.
Off the pitch, Maverick became known as something of a charmer. He enjoyed the company of his fans and admirers both quidditch related and non. Mav always seemed more concerned with keeping a quantity of friends rather than gaining quality relationships. He kept people out for the most part, and lived with the assumption that because he loved himself everyone else should as well. Of course this created plenty of conflict (mostly commonly among the males of Hogwarts) when he discovered not everyone was willing to accept his superiority.
After graduation Maverick headed for Italy as he did each summer. His parents followed only for the first two weeks before returning to their home in Austria. While in Italy Maverick landed a tryout for an Italian league team and made the squad as a seeker, but only completed one season before being released (the team cited conduct issues as the reason) and moving on. He went on a tour of Europe flying by night and using a combination of his quidditch contract and savings to fund his travel and late nights in bars, ending in one form of physical confrontation or another.
On one of these many late night bar trips somewhere around Sevilla in Spain he made a drunken agreement with a man to take a job as a dragon wrangler. The man was surprised to find Maverick keep to his word the next morning, but after a year or brawling his way through Europe and no taste for any job that required having an office this was just what he needed.
Early on Maverick seemed to be in over his head. Bar brawls had filled his head with thoughts of invincibility, but a Welsh Green's fire breath singeing his blond locks quickly banished the notion. For the first time in awhile his thirst for knowledge returned, in his time off he studied dragons talked to co-workers, listened to their stories, became a near expert at healing burns and gashes. He learned to respect something clearly more powerful than him, and over the years he liked to think the dragons learned to respect him back.
Now, Maverick finds himself back in Austria looking for the life he left behind.
