Description ::D A R K
It's hard to miss Warren Wilkes, he's a tall man, standing at 6'1. Albeit he'd rather skinny. He's got black hair, and dark green eyes. He was blessed with a gene that makes his hair grow faster than most other peoples. So there's almost constantly a five o'clock shadow on his face. He keeps his hair short, but since it grows so quickly, there is generally enough to pull back into a ponytail. He doesn't much mind though, he's a hairy man. It keeps people away which generally is something that he liked. Like a woman, he books waxing appointments to rid himself of bodily hair because he gets tired of it. His clothing style is generally a direct mirror of his moods. He's prone to wearing dark colors, his jeans are normally the darkest shade of blue and fit him properly. None of this, bagging so low that his butt is constantly hanging out for the world to see. He tends to layer his clothing because of the dark clothing. Everybody knows that the darker the clothing, the hotter you get throughout the day. So he sweat a lot, hence why you can usually find him in a plain white 'Beater' style shirt.B R O O D I N G
The term 'shady character' comes to mind at the sight of Warren. Everything from how he dressed, to his posture alert people that there is something just a little bit off with Warren. He stands sort of hunched over, so that is otherwise very tall frame seems a bit shorter. He looks around 5'11 whenever he is actually 6'1. More often than not, his hair is long and falls in front of his face, hiding his features. He isn't the kind of guy to spot on the street and ask what time it is. He isn't at all like the impression he gives off. From looks alone, he's the epitome of mysterious.S E X
Warren is a virgin, hard to believe I'm sure..but the one relationship that he was completely devoted to, he was to young to even know what it was...much less how to do it. Mind you, he's no stranger to the female form...he's just not given himself completely over to one woman...and he's likely to keep it that way until he's married. He's not exactly a religious man, but he does believe in love...and that Marriage is the ultimate expression of love. He doesn't like many people, but women tend to flock to him because of his looks, and that he doesn't talk much. However, if you can make him laugh...and really laugh. Chances are that your in.» T U R N S M I L E S H I F T R E P E A T

Strengths ::+Artistic-ever since he was little, Warren has been a rather talented poet, it has given him a rather interesting outlook on life. He doesn't see things the way that most people see them.
+Has a huge heart- He's a giver, not a taker. IF one of his friends, or somebody close to him should ever need something and he's able to give it. He will.
+Kind-Warren is chronically nice to just about everybody. He feels that there's no need to be rude first. He's a gentleman of the oldest fashion, pulling out doors and helping old women across the street.
+Conservative-Unlike most of the people out there, he doesn't go about flaunting his body just because there is something to look at.
Weaknesses ::-He has a huge heart- Because he's such a giver, he tends to get taken advantage of and taken for granted...which angers him...usually causing him to lose his friends.
-Kind- Once again, he gets used for what he has more often than not. He's a very talented artist, and gets used for those talents and is to kind to say no.
-Shy - It's hard for him to go after what he wants most of the time because he's afraid of being told 'no' he's to much of a people pleaser to go for it.
-His dreams- Whenever he does muster up the courage to go after what he really wants, he will stop at nothing until he gets them. He's a bit of an oxymoron.

Personality ::P O E T
Even from a young age, Warren was addicted to the word. He spoke in riddles, and needed to be sang to fall asleep. He composed his first song at the age of seven...by banging on pots and pans. He picked up the guitar at age seven...and broke it the first day from frustration. However his talent has always been unavoidable. He's incredibly smart, and gifted with natural ability. He's sensitive, but oddly modest and for the most part keeps to himself. Most of the things that he comes up with now are darker pieces, nothing upbeat and all of his songs are connected with his life on a deeply personal note.D R E A M E R
He has a tendency to drift off, making it very hard for Warren to keep a job. He lives in his own little world and is in a very real sense, still a child. He missed out on most of his childhood, due to drugs and rehab...and feels that he should make up for it now. He's incredibly loyal and a hopeless romantic. He doesn't consider himself worthy of him, and after Grace has incredibly high standards for himself He'll never judge anybody lest he should be judged.M A N
Like everybody, Warren tends to make mistakes, a lot of them. He's rather clumsy, and gives into temptation just like everybody else. Only, his mistakes have cost him more than he was willing to give up in the past. He can't go after what he wants. He's to shy...and he didn't used to be. Something he hates about himself. He's weak. Whenever things don't go exactly his way, he tends to go off the deep end. The last time, he landed in rehab....twice. Granted it was a very very long time ago, but he's afraid that since he's done it once. That he's going to do it again.» H I D D E N T R A C K

History ::Place your fingers on my spine
Warren Xavier Wilkes was born approximately 7:45 in the morning, on June the third after 72 hours of labor. Exactly where he was born he's not exactly sure. However, about two weeks after he was born, he was placed into an orphanage in Salem, Mass. He has absolutely no recollection of either of his parents due to the age that he was abandoned. Mrs. Ophelia, 'Mama O' as he would come to call her took him in as one of her own. It was a small orphanage, only had eight bedrooms, and when it was originally founded, it was supposed to be be more of a half way house than an Orphanage. However, there were usually about 2-3 kids per room, and only six permanent residents in all the years that it served as an orphanage. The only things that he knew about himself were from his medical records, and the other basic documents contained in the box that had been brought to the orphanage with him. His first year was as normal as any other child's, and on Sept, 21st of his second year his best friend, and brother was left on the footsteps of the orphanage. From the day that Mama O took in little Ashton Wentworth, the pair were inseparable. They were nothing alike, from the day that they met. Granted, Ashton was two years younger...but it was obvious that they were different. Mama O had once told somebody that she didn't know how two people, who were so completely different could get along like they did. Warren was bright, and completely full of life. While Ashton, was more sullen, and more of a trouble maker that tender to keep to those that he knew. Warren had to be the one to drag Ash out of the house, to take them anywhere...to make him to do his chores. Opposites attract, or maybe they were brothers from completely different mothers, they would never really know.Could you stay with me awhile?
The years passed easily, just typical things, childhood was simple...it didn't really register in their minds that they didn't have parents. Then Grace walked into their lives. Grace's mother had been no more than a teenager when she had gotten pregnant, and attempted to take care of her but couldn't. Grace was two years younger than he was, but it didn't much matter. She'd come to the orphanage on her eighth birthday. They had hit it off right away, she was the cutest thing in the world to him, she had a tiny gap between her front two teeth, and if you believe in it, it really was love at first sight. The way that she had introduced herself to him, was to run up behind him, and place a kiss right on his cheek. She was part of their little family from that moment on. As a child, Warren had thought that, if you had anything to do with the opposite sex, you had to get married...and believed that babies were made by kissing. Since Grace had kissed him, he had to be pregnant...and when your pregnant you get married. At least, that’s what Mama O had told him. So that following weekend, they were 'married' underneath the tiny swing set that had been in the backyard since the house was constructed. Nobody dared play on it, it was far to old for that. But it was a great sense of shade for playing underneath. Ashton hadn't been to happy that Warren had brought a girl into their little 'family' but since it was his 'wife' he put up with her. The two never really got along, they were always fighting. But, even though they always fought, they were a family. They had made a pact the night of the 'wedding' to never leave each other. Like a real family, all they needed was each other.Gently break me with your smile
Everybody knows that nothing good can last forever. No matter how good a person that you are. Grace and Warren were the kind of couple that made everybody sick with how perfect that they were for each other. Ashton and Warren got picked by families just like everybody else, and true to their deal they always came back to the Orphanage. Purposefully giving up their 'need' for parents by having each other. Grace was the last to get adopted. Nobody understood why, she was a sweet thing and as pretty as they come. Perhaps they could sense their devotion to each other and knew better than to split them up. The three of them were inseparable, and Mama O eventually started calling them her children...as they were the only ones who were still in the Orphanage...and they had no intention of leaving. When the Patterson's came into the orphanage...was the day that all of that ended. Grace was to be adopted...but Warren wasn't worried because he just knew that she was going to do the same thing that Ashton and himself had done so many times before. Only, she didn't. A few weeks later Warren was starting to get anxious, why hadn't she come back yet? They had been together since they were children...of course they were only fourteen...by all rights they were still nothing more than children...but he knew what he was feeling for her...and he could have sworn that she had felt the same thing for him so many times before...She was the one, the love of his life...and how could she do that to him? Ashton had been attempting to convince him that she wasn't needed, but he'd never really liked her to begin with. Ashton started to hang around Monty more and more (the only other kid who'd been there just as long...and four years older) The same one that Warren had never liked....and she never wrote. Not a single word.Like the child needs the sun
Needless to say, Warren was heartbroken...the carefree artistic man that had such a relish for life was broken. For the longest time he refused to leave his room other than to go to school. Warren didn't attend a normal school, he attended the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry in London...and was the top in his artistic class...but his grades slipped...and he didn't make it into the high school that he needed to be in. He began meeting up with Monty after dark. His relationship with Ashton was suffering at best...he was like a man possessed...that's when the drugs started. Monty, being older and going nowhere in life, had tons of contacts all around the city. He started doing just about anything that he could get his hands on. Ashton, thankfully didn't know anything about any of it...which was strange considering how he was replacing Warren with Monty. It wasn't long before the drugs consumed his life, be couldn't eat properly...couldn't sing, couldn't write and couldn't compose...all the things that had made him happy in life had been torn away from him...and he was going nowhere but down. Nobody recognized him, and he lost tons of weight. His face became gaunt...and puberty was a nightmare for a boy who didn't leave his room. This went on for a good six months...until Mama O decided to step in...she'd been so busy attempting to keep this home from going under that she hadn't even noticed how bad it was. So she sent him away, to a rehab center in Chicago...to get away from drugs. Which wasn't the smartest. He got out of his first stint within six weeks...only to get arrested and sent right back in...this time for two years. On his nineteenth birthday he was released into the world again, and finished school via correspondence a year late. He'd made quiet a few friends so he had some money, and they had lined up a job for him. For the first time in his life, he felt like singing again.Can you hear my heart?
In the time that he'd been in rehab, he'd kept a journal...and after finding himself an apartment...he was starting to convert his writings into poems...and then into songs. Of course, every single one of them was about Grace but he couldn't do anything about it now...he didn't even know what had happened to her, where she was living, what she was doing. Much less Ashton. He'd written about the first month or so...but it must have turned out to be to much to bear...they didn't even know each other anymore. Mama O had gotten in contact recently to tell him that Ashton had gotten married to a beautiful young lady by the name of Georgina Watson and was very happy, and that the two of them were expecting a child in the spring. It was strange to know that his once monogamistically challenged, chain smoker, drinker, prone to cheating foul mouthed friend had settled down. Well, if Ashton could change, then so could Warren. He quit his job to pursue what he really wanted to do. He got a job down at the record store, that allowed him to finish his music and start preforming again. The first performance, was horrible, and he was Boo'd offstage...but it didn't deter him...he just picked up the guitar and ditched the half time band to do things on his own...He had contacts now...but it's going to be a very long journey.A dream turned out all wrong
To be continued...
