"Watch this"
Her torso fit so easily over the bar, just the right angle to show off her assets and smile. Nobody here would have ever guessed that she was only sixteen. Batting an eyelash at the suit only a few stools down she only needed to wait. They all caved sooner or later. Why a smile from a doe eyed blond always earned at least one round of free drinks. If she was really lucky a well placed smile would get a second round. Whenever the man tipped his head in her direction she knew, it would only be a matter of moments before the bartender was serving their drinks. They weren't going to be carded since technically they weren't the ones ordering the drinks. Turning back to the two other girls that she had brought with her today she almost couldn't contain herself any longer. Fits of laughter threatened to overcome her but she managed to contain herself. Sure enough, as soon as she turned around to look again, there were three drinks sitting on the bar. Lifting one to her lips she winked her thanks and headed in the direction of the dance floor. Of course, she should have gone and at least talked to him but dancing seemed more interesting.
At least, that was the last thing that she could remember. It had seemed like such a good idea at the time, but now for the life of her she couldn't seem to remember why. Countless drinks later and now she was stumbling her way down the cobbled path toward her house. Summer was almost over and she had only wanted to have one last blow out before school. Why had her friends been egging her on like that? Sure she had managed to get free drinks for the three of them, and her two friends had left her to go home with the jerk that had been buying drinks all night. Not like she had called dibs or anything. It infuriated her to no end that she was now walking back to her house alone and intoxicated. She couldn't even see straight. What great friends she had.
