Character Name: Lucinda Roxane Belrose
Year At Hogwarts: Seventh
Least Favorite House: Gryffindor
What would a typical day in your character's life be like? A day in Beauxbaton is like being royalty. Being an all-girls school, the morning starts off with getting prepared for the day’s events. Whether it be classes, studying, or just a lazy weekend day, first thing first is getting cleaned up and dressed. Breakfast is soon to follow in the elegant dining hall. On days with no obligations for class or studying, Lucinda spends most of her time surrounded by a group of friends. They do anything ranging from gossiping about other girls, to trading clothes and jewelry, to just lounging around and giving mani's and pedi's. During the summer months, Lucinda finds herself often joining her various friends at vacation homes, or travelling with her parents around France. Usually, if she decides she wants to do it, she will find a way.
Describe your character's personality: Lucinda grew up in a pureblood family and was raised to be a pureblood woman. She knew from a young age that she would be responsible for carrying herself the proper way to represent her family as well as other pureblood families. She has done her job thus far and has no problem being labeled as a pureblood. She is proud of her heritage. As a result, she can be rather rude and cruel to those who are not of pureblooded origin. How she acts to those who are of pureblooded origin completely relies solely on their attitude towards her and what is in her own best interest. Ultimately, she will do whatever is best for herself first and foremost.

It was finally time for Katharine to get her life underway. She wished she could continue to do her hobby for the rest of her life but obviously it was something that wasn’t so lucrative nor was it easy to keep up with. If she made one wrong move, she would be thrown into Azkaban along with her parents and to rely on it for a living would mean she would slip up eventually. There was no telling how she would slip up either. Robbing and killing muggles for the fun of it had many bad twists and turns. One was always stumbling on a wizard instead of a muggle. That was how her parents went down. Then there was a muggle fighting back and killing you. That would be embarrassing. The number of ways were countless and Katharine had thought about how to counter each and every one. Though, when she really got in the mood, there was nothing saying she wouldn’t slip up. Something about that thrill she got from watching the light fade from their eyes gave her such satisfaction. She couldn’t resist it and if she could see it over and over, she would. However, killing more than her fair share of muggles would cause her to get caught faster. At least this way, she would get income from a reliable source, have something to occupy her time, other than Christen, and then be able to enjoy her hobby as just that: a hobby. A way for her to find enjoyment in the world she lived in.
Kitty was finding lately that she didn’t need bloodshed to find enjoyment anymore, though. Christen was doing that job well enough. Ever since the Gala, she had seen him at least twice a week and sometimes, not even that was enough. Since his first letter she had dreamed of what it would be like to be around him constantly, and that was before she even knew he was a vampire. The first touch between the two at the Gala only sealed her thoughts that she wanted to be with him any second he would allow. That had been the night she was assured he was part of the walking dead and was, in fact, the picture of her fantasies. Well, those fantasies that did not involve taking a blade to a human neck. A grin crept along Kat’s lips at the image now playing in her head. It was a devious grin reflected in the mirror in front of her, but she wouldn’t be able to play out that image today. It was her first day at the hospital and to show up with blood stained on her would not be a good kick-off. She was pretty sure they would question where it came from and to admit that to any living soul just did not seem to fit into her day planner. So instead, she allowed the grin to fall from her lips as she put on a dot of lip gloss and spread it around by pursing her lips together. Her hair was done up to prevent it from getting in her way with whatever they would have her doing on her first day. She hoped it wouldn’t be confined strictly to a tour but there was no doubt in her mind that would be the plan. Hope never seemed to do her any good.
Placing down the lip gloss tube on the bathroom counter, Katharine turned around and walked out of her bathroom and into her bedroom. She had on a cute pair of black and red scrubs, much better looking than those muggle one’s they sold in the stores. These were much more form fitting and would handle any magical calamities that may occur. They had become her parents go to so long ago and they became hers the moment she took over the family business. Now they would go with her to work and serve their true purpose. She added a black pair of trainers before grabbing her wand and walking out of her apartment. With a flick of her wand, the door was locked and a spin was all she needed before she apparated within walking distance of St. Everdines. She had come by before applying for the position just to see what the hospital had looked like. When she had taken her freelance tour, it had been rather busy. Some sort of incident with a testing lab and someone crossing the wrong potions. She hadn’t gotten much farther than the lobby, but she could see just from then to now, things were much different. It seemed to be a calmer atmosphere today which meant they did have their downtime. The last thing she wanted was to be working constantly. She still wanted time for herself and Christen. The thought of him made her want to turn around and head in the other direction to find him but that wouldn’t do her any good. He was always the one to find her. She yearned for the day where he finally allowed her to know something personal about him.
But, alas, today would not be the day. So instead she walked through the front doors and asked the receptionist the direction she should be heading to get through her first day. The first thing was the signing of the clipboard, most likely to confirm she was who she said she was, then the guest pass until she received the real thing saying she actually worked in the hospital. Once all the pleasantries were done, she was pointed down the hall to the elevator and directed to the second floor, third door on the left. With a nod, she diverted to the stairs, trotted her way up and out into the hallway. She wasn’t one for elevators unless necessary. There were far too many things that could go wrong in such a confined space. Claustrophobia? Maybe, but she didn’t care. If there were stairs, she didn’t need to worry about it. As she took a look around, she saw plenty of patients and doctors, and then doors. Doors upon doors. Counting her way down from the elevator, she found the specified door. “Dr. Stanton” was printed on a plaque against the door. “Yay for babysitters,” she muttered before knocking on the wood of the door just below the nameplate. The last thing she needed was someone constantly looking over her shoulder as she tried to work. She had the medical knowledge she needed between her classes and experience; she did not need someone to watch her. All she could hope was this was just temporary. The sooner she got to do things all on her own, the sooner she would be comfortable healing people for a living. The thought gave her a shiver but she suppressed it quickly as the footsteps behind the door led to it opening to a rather attractive looking female in light blue scrubs.
“Dr. Stanton, I presume?” She hardly waited for even a nod before holding out her hand to the woman. “Katharine Makari. Looks like you’re stuck with me for the day?”
