Character Name: Celeste Cato
Year At Hogwarts: Seventh
Least Favorite House: Least favorite house? Why would anyone dislike any of the houses? Though, I suppose if I have to pick one, I’d say Slytherin because they can have some of the meanest people I’ve met! But not all Slytherins are horrible, I’m sure.
What would a typical day in your character's life be like? A normal day for Celeste would include waking up just minutes too late, rushing to get ready for class, and just making it there on time. She would go to lunch afterwards with some friends, or make new friends if she wasn’t with anyone, and then proceed to try to do her homework. She isn’t the brightest girl, so she does require some tutoring from anyone willing to help her. Afterwards, Celeste would probably go out with her friends just for a good time. She loves to hang out with people, loves to meet new people, and absolutely enjoys having a great laugh.
Describe your character in 7 words or less:
Flirtatious, optimistic, funny, modest, honest, naïve, and charismatic

‘Today is going to be one of the loveliest days yet,’ something in her mind declared as excited eyes stared at the cloth draping down the four-poster bed. For some reason, despite her lack of sleep, Celeste was wide awake and excited for some event in the next twenty-four hours. What event that was, she wasn’t sure of just yet, but she knew it must exist. It seemed to her as if something new happened everyday, and if not, then she could still enjoy it as if something had. That was how things were at Hogwarts for her.
Deciding to jumpstart the day, the seventh year Hufflepuff sat up in bed and extended her arms over her head. Nothing was better to start a day than a good stretch which happened to trigger her body’s movements. She sighed contently and returned her hands to the bed, pulling off the blanket that warmed her the night before. With a jolt, the girl kicked her feet to the left and hopped through the curtains which secured her privacy during the night.
Luckily for her, no one was standing there. But with the good must come the bad, and surely Celeste was about to endure that. She had left her slippers beside the bed and hopped right on them instead of in. The sudden force of weight on the fluffy, bunny slippers caused them to fly right under her bed, almost taking her feet with them. Releasing a yelp, the girl fell face forward onto the ground, unable to break her fall.
“Owie… Why did that have to happen today?” she questioned as she tucked her knees up to her chest and leaned back to sit on her calves. By now, she was still on the ground but in less of a foolish position. If any of the other Hufflepuff girls were to look at her, they would think she was saying another prayer as she tended to before she went to sleep and after she had awaken. “I hope that wasn’t the event of the day,” the girl whined quietly.
She rose from her position and placed her hands on her hips, the pastel pink pajamas wrinkling under her fingertips. Her head turned from side to side, the messy blonde strands falling into her line of vision occasionally. A smile crept onto her pink lips as her blue eyes gleamed with joy. No one was watching as far she could tell, so perhaps no one noticed her silly little fall. Contented, Celeste let out a soft giggle and shrugged her shoulders gleefully. Yes, it seemed as if the day was going to be lovely.
