personality Loyal- Matt is loyal to a fault and believes the best of anyone who has gained his trust.
Hard Working- Though he doesn't believe in all work and no play, he will make sure to keep on top of his studies and do the best he is able before he goes to play.
Kind- Matt has a kind heart. He wants to believe the best of everyone and is sometimes taken advantage of for this.
Introverted- Though he is very friendly once you get to know him, he probably didn't make the first move in initiating the friendship.

Matt woke up to the feeling of sunlight shining on his face. He was a naturally early riser and didn’t need an alarm to wake up in time for his classes. Usually, he was up and eating breakfast in the Great Hall before half the castle had thought to stir. He stretched languidly before sitting up and sliding out of bed without making a sound. He would feel terrible about waking up one of the other boys he lived with, after all.
He stood in front of the sink with his Charms textbook propped up against the mirror as he brushed his teeth. Charms was his favorite subject and when he was on top of his studies in this other classes he rewarded himself with a little extra Charms reading. He practiced a particularly complex wand movement and was gratified when he accomplished without making a mistake. Matt dressed comfortable and headed to the Great Hall for breakfast; he was particularly hungry now. He also wanted to look over the recipe for the Potion they were supposed to be brewing today again, just in case.
The walk up from the dungeons was quiet, and he only passed two others whom he nodded to as they passed. He wasn’t terribly familiar with them so a simple nod would suffice for now. He hoped that eventually he would know just about everyone in his house so that he
could be a personable role model for the younger students. Matt was very aware of what was going on outside the seemingly impenetrable walls of Galaxia, and he hoped that his influence would keep the younger years from making a rash decision when the time came to choose a side. Personally, when he graduated he wanted to get a job at the Ministry and help make this country a safer place.
