physical description Raelene is a natural blonde with blue eyes, standing at 5'6" and weighing about 127 pounds. She has a natural build that borders between slender and athletic. It tends to lean more towards athletic due to the amount of physical activity she likes to do on her spare time.
appearance Rae dresses for the occasion. While at work, she dresses professionally, meaning skirt/pant suit and heels, as her job usually calls for such attire. When she's at home alone, she prefers a pair of shorts, a tank top, and bare feet. Going out on the town with friends, she usually likes to wear a flirty shirt, jeans or a skirt, and heels. And when she goes casual outside of the house, a simple t-shirt and shorts or jeans with tennis shoes usually suit her just fine. She can play up or play down however she needs to for the occasion.

personality Rae is an extremely friendly person who has no problems making friends. Once she makes friends, she does find it sometimes hard to keep them since she will often spread her time rather thin. Though, when she does make friends and keep in touch, they will often discover that Rae is an extremely loyal and reliable friend.
Despite her being a bookworm, she also loves to party and hang out with friends. She is also very athletic so she was able to fit in with nearly every social group during her school days, though she hardly had time to spend with friends outside of her strong study habits which is why she never felt she had a large friend base.
While she is friendly, she also has a temper that is slow to start but quick to boil. During her school days it did not affect her often since she normally did not have much time to spend with other students, however, after her school years ended and she found herself with more free time, Rae began to realize just how inhibiting her temper could be. Over the years, she has found a handful of useful methods that allow her to keep her temper under control by managing the stress of the situation and taking a step back to analyze. As a result, she often doesn't find herself coming close to losing her temper. On the off occasions where her temper does show, it becomes obvious she is Australian because her accent tends to leak through and she also uses terms that originate from her home country.

ethnicity Rae is a native Australian, born and raised. While her family still retains their strong accents, Rae transitioned out of hers at the age of twelve when she began learning other languages. Her accent hindered her ability to properly pronounce some words. As a result, it isn't obvious that she is Australian unless she happens to lose her temper and some of her accent slips through. Or she uses some words specific to the region.
She knows the necessities to get her by in nearly every language, but she is fluent in Spanish, Italian, French, German, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Rae pushed up the little plastic cover that blocked out the blinding sun from the inside of the plane. With the absence of the barrier, the bright yellow light flooded over her tan legs and spilled all the way through to the person at the end of her row. It had always been a dream of hers to travel by plane, mostly because she wanted to see how muggles lived, how they survived without the use of magic. If Rae ever needed to go anywhere, she simply apparated. It wasn't even a question any longer. Once she had received the approval to begin apparation during her last year at the academy, everything had been just a second away, at the reach of her fingertips with just a small flicker of magic. Yet the muggles had to do things without any magic. It wasn't even traveling that they lacked magic, but every part of their life. Cooking, cleaning, even straightening their hair, had to be done with either manual labor or mundane tools that had to be operated by their own hands all day, every day. Rae looked around at the plane cabin around her, squinting through the glare of the sun that was still blaring through the plastic windows that separated her and near death at this altitude. Everyone on the flight seemed particularly contempt being in a giant tin box above the world and trusting that nothing went wrong. It was fascinating to say the least.
While the drink trolley began to make its way around, Rae took a moment to admire the scenery outside of the window. It was hard to see much other than the sun shining off of the clouds, but every so often, there would be a break in the bright white marshmallows lining the sky. A break passed, revealing nothing but blue water wherever you looked. Off to the very edge of the clearing of clouds, Rae could have sworn she saw a ship, but the cloud cover closed up too quickly for her to really take notice of what kind. It was remarkable just how exciting it could be to fly through the skies, to see things you never got to see when you took such shortcuts as apparation to go wherever you wanted. "Cuppa coffee o' tea fo' ya, miss?" Rae, slightly startled by the sudden interruption in her window gazing, turned in her seat to see the two people next to her had already received their drinks and that the male manning the cart was speaking to her. "Tea, if you would," she responded, finding herself falling into line with his Australian accent. They were, after all, on a flight filled with mostly Aussies. When around Aussies, she found herself often slipping back into her old ways, her accent creeping in and weaving its way through her sentences. It was harmless here, but she knew that the moment she stepped off the plane, it would have to stop. Rae had no intention of having people find out where she was originally from because if any of them decided to look her up, they would easily discover who her parents were and the entire reason for leaving Australia would be void. She needed a life where she didn't live under her family's shadow. As the trolley man handed over the cup of tea, Rae declined his offer for cream and sugar and instead, took a sip on her tea and lowered the cup down to her lap where she held it rather than bringing down the drink tray embedded in the seat in front of her. Curious way these muggles travelled, but it was nice, nice to have a moment to think about life and get your ducks in a row. Merlin knew she would need it once she landed in Austria. She was on her own there. The thought brought a smile to her face as she took another drink of her tea.
