physical description Donovan's been told over the years that he's rather deceptively handsome, although in recent years lining has begun to form in the bronzed skin. Frequent laughter resulted in gathered creasing in the corners of eyes and mouth. Distinguished, the girls are fond of telling him these days. More often than not an autumnal mix of colors can be found as stubble along the line of his squared jaw. Less because he doesn't shave often enough and more because his five'o'clock shadow is actually more of an every hour shadow. For whatever reason he can't seem to keep his face from sprouting the stuff for more than an hour at a time, on the rare occasion that he actually feels compelled to he uses a specially formulated cream to keep it smooth. His hairline has receded a bit more this past year than the years before- not nearly enough to be noted by those that weren't intimately familiar with him over the years though and of that list there are only a very few. One of his more notable features is his wide smile, friendly and open- charismatic even... despite the fact that his teeth are neither the whitest or the straightest. He's been reminded that with the advances in magic its never too late to make cosmetic changes. However, he wasn't afforded the same when he was younger and- making it as far as he has already without changing it he hardly sees the reason to go through the trouble now. It never seems to matter anyways, apparently the way his eyes squint- lips pulling so widely as to nearly cut his face in two is enough to detract from the fact. His hair ... well he has no real preference for it one way or another, he's got a tendency to let it grow as it will and then crop it off when he feels its grown too long. After his smile the other feature that garners the majority of commentary would be his eyes. He supposes its the blue coloring, it isn't as if they're over large or shaped differently than most. 
appearance Nice. Put together. He very rarely sports any sort of rumpled look- he dresses to impress, whether it be a suit and tie or jeans and a shirt. He doesn't hold with the rips and tears of fabric that seem to have come into style- although he isn't necessarily opposed to dressing for comfort.
