appearance She’s pretty grunge in style. She will only wear a skirt or a dress if absolutely necessary, feeling much more comfortable in pants/shorts. One of her favourite things to wear is an old ripped-up flannel hand-me-down that she refuses to get rid of. She also likes attracting attention with the clothes she’s wearing so she’s not afraid to wear something that other people would shy away from.

personality Liliya is a little rough around the edges in regards to her personality. She grew up a rebel in a strict conservative household and now that she's escaped she refuses to ever not speak her mind again. Sometimes this scares people away because it can be overwhelming, but if you can get past that, Liya is good ol' time to be around. She's not afraid of breaking rules because she's been breaking them for most of her life. She loves city-life and all that there is to it after suffering from Small-Town Syndrome for years and she prefers to be surrounded by people in the streets than to take shortcuts through back alleys to save time. She loves the activity and the bustling people. She's fairly carefree about most of her life; but there are quite a few things that really set her off. And when she does get set off, hoo boy, it's just like an atomic bomb. Expect a huge scene, regardless of the consequences.
Liya likes to be on top of things. She likes to win, period. Doesn't matter what she has to do to do it. After the escaping from her controlling father, she finds herself with a new unexpected and unparalleled freedom to truly do as she wants, which is something that she had only dared to dream of before. With her new found freedom, she was drawn to Austria by the strife surrounding the rising presence of a Dark Lord because she needs to be at the centre of the action, otherwise she grows bored.

The more time Alexander spent in her presence, the more certain he was that she was a person that he needed to be on good terms with, perhaps even a stable working relationship with. He was generally a fairly good judge of the people around him and over the years he had learned that more often than not he should go with his gut feeling. He was perfectly aware of how uncommon a statement such as what he made were, but in his opinion it was about time that old blood feuds between their species were put aside, old ghosts had no places now. Especially considering how havens, such as this secluded little town where the supernatural aspects of the world were the norm, were becoming few and far between. The shock on her face didn’t surprise him, it was when she didn’t laugh at him immediately after that he was surprised. That was most intriguing. “Follow me.” He grinned into his hand as she walked past him to the door. Surprisingly unoffended by the tone of the command, he stood fluidly from the chair and walked around it to follow her out. There were a number of Alpha’s that had tried to take that tone of voice with him before; when he was younger it always ended in a small spats and now he generally walked away, but either way he wouldn’t deal with that pack for a few days, until the point was made and remembered. Until they remembered why they needed him.
Are you aware of how a vampire can extract the truth from a person?” He opened his mouth to reply, but she continued without pause. “We call it blood memories. One bite can be used to extract memories, thoughts, feelings from a person and thus can be manipulated for so many purposes.” Alright, he hadn’t known that, but that didn’t mean he hadn’t wanted to make some sort of smart remark on it. “Not to be mistaken for vein raping, mind you. Obsession of some vampires, stealing the essence of other vampires for their own pleasure.” He glanced at the two vampires again raising his eyebrows, and nodded once. That was an interesting obsession to have, he couldn’t think of anything comparable in the werewolf community. There was just pack mentality, and if you were an Alpha then you didn’t need to steal what was already yours to command. He shrugged, it wasn’t really too much of a concern to him what strange kinks vampires had. Though, he did wonder why exactly it rubbed her so wrong to describe it in such a negative fashion.
“If you were anything other than werewolf, it would be much simpler for me to begin to trust you, however seeing as my bite is lethal to you, we shall just have to try another method.” Yes, he would much prefer not to die today. He followed her outside of the club, blinking once or twice as his eyes adjusted to the setting sun. He caught a few familiar scents on the light breeze and turned his head to see a few of the pups waiting in line to get in to the club. They were whispering between themselves until one of them noticed him looking at them. He nodded at them and they assumed a more submissive pose in recognition for a moment before turning back to their conversation. He turned back to following Centara as she led him through one of his favourite parts of town. It must have been the main street at one point in this town, but it had become neglected over the years as the older shop owners had passed on or given their business to sons that didn’t want them. There had been a small movement to try and get the few blocks back to their former glory, but it had done very little in terms of restoration. Now it looked as it did before the actions towards improvement were taken: empty and abandoned; a lovely metaphor for Alexander’s personal life. He exhaled forcefully through his nose, if he wasn’t careful he was going to sour his own mood. He hesitated slightly as Centara turned that corner; now he realized where she had been leading. He took the last few steps around the corner and looked on the entrance to the town’s water way, somewhere he hadn't been in ages. “I assume you’re aware of this place?” He stopped at the entrance to the waterway and placed his hand on the iron gate, letting it drag across the rusted parts, the rough texture grating against his palm. “Yes.” He was more than just aware of this place; this was probably his grandfather’s favourite place to train another person. This was where he learned everything he knew, whether it was controlling his skills as a wolf or life in general. There were more than a few indentations in these walls from his body hitting them in fact; his hand moved to one such mark to the side of him.
He watched her walk to the center of the circle, saw her hands curl inwards to weapons and took a cleansing breath. Though this placed was filled with memories on both ends, right now they were here on business that would require his full attention. “Your grandfather had a way of showing me everything I needed to know about him in here. Let’s see if that is another thing he taught you.” He nodded, knowing exactly what she wanted from him. He had no qualms about getting into a scrap with someone, sometimes he pissed off an Alpha just to keep himself sharp. He allowed his body to shift about halfway where he held the transformation and stepped into the circle himself. He knew he was at a frank disadvantage; she was more than aware of his grandfather’s fighting style which was more than slightly similar to his own, on top of that she was much older than he was. That extra experience would give her the definite edge. He was fairly sure that he wasn’t going to win this in any circumstance, but that did not by any means imply that he wasn’t going to try. Her hand beckoned him to her, obvious she had a confidence about herself perhaps due to her prior knowledge of his fighting style, but he merely raised an eyebrow; he had been doing this for long enough to know not to attack first. Instead he began to circle her slowly, his eyes taking in as much as they could from her stance, the tension in her muscles, and the small movement of her hand returning to her side.
He was distinctly aware of the fact that he probably wouldn’t be able to bait her into attacking first, he would have to make the first move. That was not something he was particularly fond of, normally he had a fairly defensive style but he could be flexible. Though he always did so wish to avoid taking the offensive strike it appeared nothing else was in question for him to try. He wondered exactly how good her hearing was, so he allowed the heel of his boot to scrape on the floor as he took his next step, still being careful not step incorrectly and weaken his stance. She still didn’t turn face him, but half shifted as he was it seemed as though her head had twitched in the direction of the sound. A low growl escaped his throat as inside his wolf urged him to lunge for her back. Certainly a foolish act, but there wasn’t much else he could do, perhaps try for a feint and see how well she could predict his train of thought through his movements. After a few seconds of deliberation in his head, he started to continue his circle. As he approached her side, he decided he had found the moment to make a charge against her stance. He hated to do it because he doubted he would land a hit, and there was a chance he wasn’t to make it out of reach before she landed her own hit, but they had to start this somehow. Focusing on moving as fast as was possible he lunged from her left side, keeping his aim focused on her lower half. She saw it coming, just like he knew she would, and she swung towards him, perhaps to grab but he wasn’t sure. Because he had been aiming low, he used his momentum to tuck into a roll away from the attack. He just barely managed to evade her hand, but from that tactic he was unable to continue fluidly into another movement. She spun on her heels, somewhat slower than he expected but he figured it had to do with the slick wetness of the floor, and tried to get him with her other hand; but he had his feet underneath him and he was able to swat her arm away yet she managed to evade his claws. Sliding on the slick ground slightly himself, he tried a lunge from another angle; she jumped, coming straight back down heavily between his shoulder blades and forcing his face into the concrete. His own momentum scraped him across the ground before he was able to get his hands underneath himself and push forcefully upwards, knocking her off of him and landing on his feet. He spun to face her as he felt the skin on his face beginning to heal immediately. He couldn’t help himself, he grinned, though it probably looked pretty feral, and chuckled; regardless of the fact that she was going to beat the hell out of him, he was enjoying this.
