physical description Indigo has brown hair that she’s always considered to be mousey, and it has a natural wave that frames her face and falls down to the middle of her back. Her hair is a little thin so she likes to curl it to add volume. She is very small in stature at only five feet one inch tall, but every bit of it is packed with attitude. Indigo has the dancer build with more muscle legs and thighs, a medium sized chest that she shows off whenever she has the chance, and chocolate colored eyes. Her voice is a little high, a little annoying, but she has a very white, large smile when Indigo is willing to show it. She is a thin girl who is often worried about her weight, and her habit of biting her nails leaves them always to the quick. Her complexion is olive toned and usually, Indigo has a very natural makeup routine that is only meant to bring out her features, not cover them up or distort them.

As someone who loves nature and animals far more than she does people, it should come to no one’s surprise that Indi dresses the part. She has a no-fur policy, and dresses herself, although fashionably, in earthy tones and political shirts. Indigo likes bangle jewelry and headbands, with the occasional high heel, although flats are much preferred. She can also dress up very girly for the occasion and is found to be consistently getting in trouble with the school administration for her racy outfits. Traces of her cultural upbringing are often found in the outfits that she wears, and she usually has well-polished, very long fingernails. Anyone who has been at the receiving end of one of Indigo’s blow outs know the very specific reason as to why.

Indigo has a constant change of moods. Highly unpredictable, you can never tell what is going on inside her head. She has a misperception about people and trusting isn’t one of her attributes. She’s afflicted with Borderline Personality Disorder, and as a result, she often pushes people away in order not to feel abandoned, yet at the same time, is immensely dependent. Although she is in serious need of anger management, Indigo has made recent improvements. She has been working on healing herself instead of using her situation as a crutch. Nevertheless, combating Indigo is like touching a barbed-wire fence. More often than not, people only see the surface of Indi. She tends to hide what she truly feels, which includes any pain or remorse. In reality, she’s a very sensitive person who takes everything someone says to heart. Her self-esteem issues only contribute to the problem, for which Indigo puts on airs of self importance and disdain.

When a promise is made by Indigo, one can trust that it will be kept. She very rarely goes back on her word and even then, it is only in the most extreme circumstances. She can, however, twist the details of her promise and get around it that way. Most of the time, Indi is badgered by even the most unappealing commitment and will follow through on it. She isn’t the most loyal of persons but has a conscience that she’s incapable of ignoring. Her conscience means that Indi has to set things right, and if she hurts someone who is undeserving of such treatment, it pesters her until she fixes it. Indigo dislikes the mistreatment of those who are weak or helpless but she only in rare instances stands up for them. She believes firmly in people learning to defend themselves and resolve their own problems, lest it should backfire on her. While she used to be afraid of what others in high society thought of her, she’s taken on a “damn them all” attitude and, on the contrary, intentionally goads them whenever she has the chance. Since they are often the perpetrators of cruelty, it’s not surprise that Indigo gets into a fair share of spats with them.

Indigo definitely has a soft spot for animals, preferring them over humans any day. Many people see it fit to label her as a “tree hugger.” Along with that, she is a vegetarian and often has nightmares about accidentally eating meat. She is adamant about promoting the quality care of creatures as well as nature and Indi has been known to hand out flyers at school with tips on how to protect the environment. Her real nature is easily seen when she is with animals, to which she is sweet and affectionate. After all, what’s not to trust about animals? They’re harmless! Relatively, unless they’re hungry, or intimated, or moody….the point is, they’re adorable, and adorable things are simply not to be eaten.

Promiscuity is a self-taught trait. She has used it as a way to feel affection, though none of it is real. Indigo has more than her fair share of boyfriends and one-night stands despite her your age. Her relationships are often fast, hot, and disasterous because she always picks the wrong boys. You know, the type of boys that come with a lot of baggage. Indi is definitely a flirt and her inappropriate dress has gotten her in trouble with Hogwarts professors on weekends on more than one occasion. She likes to be in control in relationships and always asserts her so-called authority. In reality, she is constantly looking for recognition from her love interests that she’s good enough because she cannot muster confidence on her own. She tries very hard not to fall in love but her demeanor doesn’t fool everyone. She has loved people before and she’ll love them again because Indi’s emotions run deep, and despite how often she fights and criticizes the people she cares about, her biggest fear is losing them.

In humor, Indigo is highly sarcastic. She doesn’t try to be amusing and seeks to be a realist, but she can be rather funny in her doomsday approach at life. Though she has a hell of a lot of attitude, Indigo isnt' always mad or cynical. Indi makes jokes now and again and people who like a dose of sarcasm usually like her. Indigo can even joke about silly things when she’s feeling lighthearted enough. With a grand range of dramatic facial expressions, she is sure to be entertaining even when she isn't trying to be. Though she is a realist, her upbringing has been nothing less than mystical and she secretly believes in astrology, fate, and bad luck. If Indigo were to cross a black cat she’d likely have a heart attack before anything bad actually could happen.

She is as stubborn as a bull and hates to admit when she is wrong. Despite all that she is faced, she continues to face them, which is what truly makes her brave. There aren’t a lot of people who can handle what Indigo has. If anything, Indigo is a survivor. She gets through things no matter how difficult or exhausting, because she has ingrained survival instincts and looks out for herself. After getting burned one too many times by people she has put her faith in, Indi has learned to make herself a priority and take care of her own hide. Despite being positively reckless, she somehow comes out of things….relatively unscathed. If she think someone is being false with her, she will push and push until she finds out the truth. In that way, she is very nosy and assertive. In reality, her need to be constantly on the defensive and to assert her will is Indigo’s way of protecting herself, and to mask her insecurities from other people.
