physical description Winnie is only slightly above average female height, standing at 5'6. Typically, she does nothing to change that unless it's required of her. No heels or lifted shoes. Doesn't really like wearing anything restrictive if she can help it, likes the free movement or tighter, stretchier fabrics. She had long, long black hair that falls just past the middle of her back with natural loose curls. With her pale skin, she's covered in a small screen of pale-ish freckles, most of her has a good handful of them. Large blue eyes and naturally red pillowy lips. Though, she does nothing to play either of them up. She's always been a bit too heavy handed with make up, never learned how to put it on properly, so she tries to avoid it unless it's chapstick. Plus, she doesn't really want any added attention, so it suits her fine. She really likes the freedom that being at the school provides for her, dress almost however she wants, activities, and being away from her family. She's averagely built, not overly athletic but she doesn't look all that bad in a unitard, or other sparkly costumes. It also wouldn't be strange at all to find one of her smuggled pets on her shoulders, frog, snake, tarantula.
appearance Comfortable. She wears what is functional for the season, as well as fits within the realm of her uniform. She's not one of those who strays all that much from what is expected of her house, keeping close to the yellow spectrum of the color wheel as she's supposed to, but softer fabrics to contrast the attention getting colors. She's a wash and go sort of woman.

"They are just like any other animal really," Winnie spoke mostly to herself. The man who had trailed into the tent behind her didn't really give a damn about the snakes like he said to. But then again they never really did. He had paid his money though, and for that, he was going to get the full tour as promised. Wanted to see what they ate he said, how she could be so close and not be scared of being bitten. Tarantula's, one of the larger parts of one of her acts...well they rarely bit at all and she was very kind to all of hers. Had given them all names and she felt that she knew their personalities well enough. The little one in her hand, currently wrapping itself around her fingers affectionately was named Rufus because he liked to wink. Little cobra, just a baby. Raised him from an egg. One of the cooks down in the kitchen was going to eat him. Hadn't been paying any mind and was about to crack him whenever she spotted it, little flecks on the abnormally small egg. She knew the man behind her wasn't looking. If he wasn't he wasn't looking at her hands regardless. Her palm flattened over the top of the snake, the warming orbs of light slowly pulsating from her skin into that of the snake. Just enough to keep him warm. She wasn't the sort who had to worry about heating pads and hot water bottles. She had always run a little hotter than most, the inside of her tent had often been likened to that of one of those fancy bath house saunas. Wasn't her fault...sometimes she just couldn't help it. The way it exploded from her sometimes. She'd burned a man once. It was almost like leaking radiation wherever she felt anything too strongly. She didn't even know if it was light or energy that came out of these hands, it was something. Lumen, she liked to call it. Had heard some fancy businessman say it once about candles. Illuminating. He'd called her....and well, that fit better than anything else. She liked the way it sounded, how it rolled off the tip of her tongue.
"They need companionship just like everybody...make friends and even express emotion, if ya know what to look for," She knew he still wasn't listening. Looking at her backside most likely. Didn't notice the strange lights coming out of her hands, or the comfortable ease in which she handled the snake back into it's enclosure. Half of them didn't even have enclosures except for when they were traveling. Let them just slither and crawl around as free as they like so long as it was within the tent....a lot of people tended to think she was weird for that. Even here they thought she was weird. Though, she thought it was nice to fall asleep to the sounds of birds chirping themselves down at night under their blankets, she could pull the lights from her room as easy as she could put them there, helped all of them sleep a little more sound. Not that she was going to be sleeping well tonight. Shaky hands slowly lowered the lid down over the snake's little glass room. Didn't want to scare the company away after all. She knew what it meant whenever they said that they were owed a special tour from a special lady. The look in their eyes that was just disgusting, made her skin crawl but what could he do. Spend all night under those hot lamps, in the little costumes because nobody really wanted to see spiders crawl out of her mouth, didn't want to see a snake lift her, or any of the other little things she did...they just wanted to see the little costumes, her legs...didn't care nothing about her. Not many did. Not her own Mama, not her sister, and that was how she ended up here, how she found a place to fit in, till they got the dirt scrubbed off her face and thought that she might fetch a good door price.
Winnie didn't turn around until she was sure that she could fake a good smile. Though her hands were balled into fists because the light wouldn't stop and she didn't need him staring at her, needed him to keep liking her if she was going to get her money. If her boss was going to get the money because that was what was important, wasn't it? "You ever...you know," The first thing he was saying to her and it was disgusting. There was almost nothing that she would like more than to open up her hands and let her hands shine as brightly as she wanted, blast him right out of this tent and she couldn't She liked it here, she wanted to stay so she just shook her head. Modest smile on her face like a good girl should do. Modest and soft spoken....seen and not heard. Wasn't that what men like him wanted? She hated men like him. Still she tried her best not to flinch away from his hand as he pushed her hair back over her ear. Tried to quell her shaking. "Pity, they are too creepy to have around otherwise," They weren't creepy...she didn't want him to touch her. Still he was. She played her part, maybe some day she would be a main act....she hoped so. They had to be treated better, her name on all the posters. Those girls had to be the ones who slept well at night. Her hand in his she allowed herself to be lead, closed her eyes and pictured the bright lights above her head, birds spiraling up above her and flying away with them.
