Personality and Traits of You:
The first thing to know about Ashton is that if there is even the slightest chance something is going to make him angry, it will. Hands down, Ashton is a hot headed. He's passionate about the things that he cares about, and will do anything to defend those that he needs to. He will pick fights about the stupidest things, anything and everything. He holds grudges forever. He doesn't forgive and he certainly doesn't forget. The best bet would be to take him out and get him drunk off of his ass in order to get into his good graces. Ashton isn't the kind of man to openly admit that he loves something, or that he has any feelings about anything for that matter. It look him 3 years to admit that he was in love with Georgie, and even then he didn't do it until the moment that he had proposed to her. He had a bad experience with 'love' in his childhood and has ever since then been very cautious about it. He prefers not to make lasting emotional bonds, and because of that doesn't have very many friends. He honestly thinks that Georgie was just about the only person who understands him. Over the course of his life he has attempted to get close to quiet a few people, and they have all betrayed him or left him. Thus he has adopted the practice of not letting a single soul get under his skin or develop feelings for anybody that he doesn't keep to himself. He has learned through practice that it's best if he only looks out for number one and while he craves the attention from somebody that will take the time to get to know him, the chances of that happening are almost nothing. He uses sarcasm as a defense mechanism and whenever he feels threatened, will not hesitate to use whatever he has against the person to make them feel the worst, whatever phrase he can spit out to cut the person the deepest is the one that he will use, without hesitation. Ashton suffers from an abandonment complex, as do most children who were put into the system that was foster care, and the fact that he was adopted out the lest of all of his chosen siblings, he doesn't want to live alone and hates being made to feel like he is worthless. Someday, he will be forced to come to face the reality that he is highly codependent. For those who do manage to get under his skin, he will treat them with moderate respect and defend them without question until the end. He is fiercely loyal so long as he isn't expected to be monogamous. While he might not admit it, he loves deeply and is capable of very intense emotion, he gets hurt easily because it is the one emotion that he is almost as familiar with as disappointment. To the few that he does consider to be friends he commits the same loyalty and since he doesn't like to talk about himself very much is a perfect listener who sometimes can dish out advice.
As strange as it was for him to pick a job within the Ministry, and no matter whatever the reasons were that he took the job, he put his heart into it. It was there for him as a constant source of stability in his life whenever he had nothing left. Kept his occupied and busy whenever he needed it most. Gave him the tools that he needed in order to get the dream of supporting himself to come into being. Had Georgie lived he would have been able to support her and whatever family that they had made together, which had been his main dream since he was a child. He had grown up with next to nothing, so now to have a modest savings was more than he had ever wanted. He is able to go where he wants, and do as he pleases with the money to do so. He can support his own drinking habit without stealing or working three jobs like he had done in school. He takes his job very seriously, and his business is keeping secrets. He's very talented and raising through the ranks. He's the last person you want to have dirt on you, because he takes pleasure in exploiting you. He is intelligent, albeit highly lazy. He has an affinity for books and loves to read, but it is also his most well guarded secret, he hardly cracks a book outside of the protection of his bedroom.Which, is in his home where he lives alone, in a gated abode located atop of a hill that sits on three acres that he owns. Needless to say it's something that he feels will ruin his reputation. He's the first person to compliment himself and is perfectly comfortable with only himself for company, he lives alone and doesn't mind. He has the capacity to lie just not the patience, therefore he prefers to speak the truth as it tends to be more interesting than the false version of just about anything.
He thinks that he is an attractive person, and it shows whenever he tries to get the attention of the fairer sex for his personal gain. He doesn't do much to 'woo' the girls, more like shout out a few pick up lines or a simple compliment and hope for the best. He doesn't care about rejection unless he has gone out of his way to impress the person or has emotionally invested in the person. Strawberries are an aphrodisiac for him, as he found out by accident after some trysts in a pick your own field. He has left a string of one night stands behind him, he's a highly physical person. Weather it be running outside, or putting his talents to work in the bedroom he doesn't mind which. He doesn't run from a fight, and won't try to talk somebody out of fighting with him. He's been known to have gotten kicked out of just about every pub he attended as a teen, and has landed in the hospital more time than he cares to admit. Although he has been an almost devout smoker the majority of his life save a small relapse where he had quit, he is terrified of getting cancer and dying the slow arduous death the he had been forced to endure. While, he would not be stubborn to the point of wanting to die and would have it handled at St. Everdines, he doesn't want to have to deal with the chemo potions nor having to wonder if it was going to keep creeping back up at any given point in his life. He's scared that because of his misdeeds in this life, all of the chances and risks that he has taken in his life he's worried that because he and his late wife had to endure a miscarriage and a still born child, that he will never have children to pass on his legacy, whatever little of it that there is. He does not tolerate other peoples tiny minions, but would like some to command of his own.
Favorite Animal: Ashton doesn't really like animals. In fact, he abhors them. All except crap-bag.
Favorite Color: Red, its the color that looks the best on him, and black isn't a color.
Favorite Subject:Transfiguration. The one and only subject that he excels at, and the only class he's never missed a lesson to. Otherwise he doesn't know enough about the other subjects to have a real opinion of them. He would love nothing more than to become an animagus, but lacks the discipline and the focus in order to do so.
Friends at Hogwarts:
No longer attends Hogwarts. Whenever he did there were very few people that could stand him long enough to keep near him.
Physical Description:
Ash is a tall man, standing at 6'2 and isn't lacking in the muscle department. While he does do things that aren't good for his body, there's not an inch of fat on his frame. Over the course of the past few years his body has shed some o the excess padding he had in his younger years, giving him a far more lean and toned body. While his torso is broad, his hips and legs are smaller than he would like, and that is why he doesn't wear shorts almost ever. His hair is about three inches in length at any given time, and he washes it every day despite the appearance and hap hazard method in which he wears it. It sticks up at whatever angle it feels like and he doesn't own a hairbrush. He constantly runs his fingers through the locks making them even more tall and awkward. Luckily, he had a face with sharp angular features and doesn't need to distract from it by wearing his hair in a proper manor. He's a sucker for comfort, so he wont wear anything if it's not comfortable weather or not it looks very good, he's got his own style and won't get rid of an item of clothing unless it's going to fall apart if he wears it again. He dresses in whatever looks the most comfortable. He doesn't exactly follow fashion, and it doesn't bother him. He's not above wandering outside in a pair of ripped up and torn jeans with his favorite leather jacket. He wears the same pair of black boots just just about everything. While he does own a second pair of shoes, some simple cross trainers he doesn't like to wear them as the boots have been so worn in that they are almost more padded and comfortable than the tennis shoes. The word 'fancy' and 'black tie' doesn't apply to his wardrobe. Most of his shirts have writing on them, the only ones that don't usually come from three packs of fruit of the loom. Just about everything has a stain on it. He rents his tux's whenever the need arises. He looks like just an average guy.
He's muscular, but not in an obnoxious way. He's stronger than he looks, but since he doesn't eat as much as he would like between the nights of drinking,he stays rather slim. His frame is littered with tattoo's and scars. The kanji symbol for heart is at the base of his hairline, the back of his neck. His outward symbol of devotion to Georgie. He's got a celtic cross on his right arm, just below the shoulder. Above it, is a horizontal scar from whenever he had a kitchen appliance chucked at him during one of the fights with his late wife. She broke many an appliance on his body, but the blender that shattered was the only thing to break the surface. He has the tattoo of a joker on the inside of his left arm, just below the crease of his elbow. He's got a tribal spanning across his shoulder blades, collating the Miller family crest, despite the fact that he renounced the last name. Most of them are slightly faded and in dire need of a touch up. He no longer wears his wedding ring, having embedded it into his wives tombstone next to hers, there is a faint white line on his fine where his skin will be permanently discolored from lack of wear. His hands are weathered from working with his hands for so many years. The state of his lungs and liver is questionable due to the abuse that his body has endured over the years. While the rest of his skin is soft to the touch, his hands and forearms show the only external signs of his past. His bright blue eyes are his best feature, he had thin lips and a strong jawline that is almost always covered in a minimum of a five o'clock shadow, that if often overgrown due to the fact that he is lazy and doesn't like to purchase new razor heads or take the time to get a shave. His nose is crooked at the bridge from having gotten into one too many bar fights, and is pointed at the tip. He mostly has a neutral expression, often it is turned into a smirk, he loves to tease people. On the rare occasions that he does smile or laugh he does have a set of perfect teeth that are pearly white.

Important History:
Ashton isn't exactly sure where he was born, but he was told that he had been dropped off on the front steps of the Ophelia orphanage, located in Salem, Mass as just an infant. Mrs. Ophelia, lovingly called Mama O by the children in her house took him in without a second thought. Sadly, with the rate of unwanted pregnancies and children floating around the streets she was just happy the woman had taken him to a safe haven spot rather than a dumpster. Though, if she had the world might have been spared a few more broken hearts. He was not the first one to be dropped into the orphanage, the CPS agency had brought in another baby earlier in the week, taken from the mother who didn't pass a drug test after giving birth. Sadly, due to overpopulation they shared a crib at first. Then a room for the rest of their time there. She had most likely done it on purpose, sticking the two together, she had an uncanny ability to read people and place them with others like it. Even from the first day that they were together they were inseparable. Warren Wilkes and Ashton Miller were destined to be best friends. They were raised together as the only two kids close to the same age in the orphanage. Mrs Ophelia was a good catholic woman, and they went to church every day, but most of the children weren't exactly firm in their beliefs. After his first birthday, little Grace was thrown into the mix. Since she was a girl they weren't allowed to legally share a room, despite their age but she was placed in the one directly next to them. The three of them didn't hang out much during infancy. Mama O, as they liked to call her, kept most of the boys away from the girls until they were old enough to believe in cooties. Their childhood was a mostly normal one, there were enough children in the building at any one time to have a whole sports team and they placed often in the lot next to the building. They attended a regular preschool and elementary, still going to church on Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings. Warren was always a better student than he ever was, but Ashton made sure to go to class every morning as the insistence of his Best friend. Grace was a year younger so they never seemed to have the same classes or recess times. Which was fine by Ashton, even at such a young age he never wanted to share, he only had the one friend due to his violent outburst and frequent trips to detention and the principals office. But all good things had to end at some point, try as he might he couldn't keep Warren living in the shadows and Grace wormed her way into their life. The children at the orphanage were all starting to get 'girlfriends' and the movies that were watched started to increase in maturity ratings. Can't fight change. While Ashton had his eye on a cute blond with pigtails at school, it seemed that Warren was starting to have eyes for Grace alone.
At the age of eight, Grace really started to hang around. The three of them were inseparable, much to the dismay of Ashton. By his ninth birthday, Warren and Grace were 'married' or a least as close to it as two prepubescent children could get to it. They had confessed their undying love for one another under the slide on the rusting playground set in the back yard, and exchanged bracelets that had been woven out of rainbow colored thread in art class at school. He was their maid of honor and best man. Little did he know how serious they were about one another. The three of them made a pact after the mini wedding, that they weren't ever going to leave one another. It was their version of vows, only they were including their 'best friend' into the mix. It wasn't long until people started to come around, and finally after years of interviews Warren was to be adopted by a kind loving infertile couple who were independently wealthy. If was the perfect set up, but, true to the pact he sabotaged the relationship and was back in his old bed within the month. Over the course of the year Warren and Ashton got adopted many times, they were cute kids, and were forced to behave during interviews by Mama O, however they both always found ways to get dropped right back into the Orphanage. True to their word to each other. Ashton was adopted less out of the two due to his past and their friendship only grew as time after time they stayed true, and the bond between the tiny 'Husband and Wife' stayed true, never once did they waver, it was always almost so cute that he wanted to vomit. He made no secret of the fact that he hated how they had each other and that he was usually excluded from the mix. They did everything together, and attempted to include Ashton as much as they could but it didn't always work. That left Ashton to hang out with the older children.
At the age of eleven, he fell in with Montgomery (Monty), who actually knew his biological family...just couldn't be with them because people in the line of work that Monty's father was in weren't allowed to have children. While he never disclosed exactly what sort of business he was into, his mother often came to visit him, making generous donations to the orphanage and paid to have that next door lot turned into a kickball field, and replaced the swing set in the back yard with a professional one, no more wood splintering the skin of anybody who used the monkey bars, no more rust residue left on the hands of anybody brave enough to sit on the swings without a tetanus shot. They were all 'anonymous' donations but he knew who they were from, Monty always told him. He was older, stronger and had a far more foul mouth than anybody that Ashton had ever met in his life. Mama O was helpless to do anything to discipline the child or curb his bad habits, without the money that was dumped into the building since his arrival was essential to her keeping the Orphanage from going under more than once. The building had always been a small three story building. Concrete steps in the front, seven in total lead up to the building. It stood alone on the lot because nobody wanted to live that close to that many children. Children of the state always had the worst possible reputation and no self respecting business was going to be placed next to it, lending business to hooligans. It had over a dozen rooms, all of them on the second and third floor, a set of bunk beds and a desk to each room. They all had ceiling fans to battle the heat and their clothing was always clean. No computers, and only the one television on the first floor. It was a huge box set, that had to weigh at least fifty pounds. They had movie night once a week where Mama O would rent the popcorn machine from the church, those were some of the best memories that he had of his childhood. There were more books than he could count. She did her best to serve them at least two hot meals a day, counting on the school to provide lunch, and they did eat a lot of sandwiches, but nobody ever complained about the food. Each room was home to at least two children, sometimes if they were really crowded for a month or two she would move a third stand alone bed into a room, but they always had a bed of their own that they were able to call home. She could always remember everybody by name and knew each one of their birthdays, even if they didn't have cake more than once or twice a year, they celebrated holidays at the church so that everybody got to partake in a large meal just like they would have if they were part of a real family. She didn't allow smoking, porn, drugs, or alcohol in the house and made sure that anybody would be offered the chance to talk about anything that they wanted because she knew that a few of them had to have been hooked on something at one point or another. Nobody knew exactly how old she was or if she had ever been married or had children of her own. Nobody knew how the orphanage had even come about because she didn't like to talk about herself, focusing instead on whoever she was talking to. She liked to make whoever she was talking to feel like the most important person in the whole world, honestly interested in whatever mundane problems that a child or teenager could have possibly been getting into. She didn't tolerate lying or stealing in her house. Making sure to know that she would allow the cops to intervene if something were to get out of hand, but that she would be doing it out of love. The main floor of the building contained the bathroom, set up more like a public building than the bathroom of a private home, and everybody did have to use the same brand of soap and shampoo. It also contained the living room, dining room where they ate in shifts and Mama O's bedroom with her own private bathroom. They all wore clothing that was purchased from a thrift store or traded in a consignment store yet she always gave everybody an allowance depending on age to teach good spending habits, it ranged from a nickel to a dollar and was revoked if they were sent to the principal or had other bad behavior. Needless to say that Ashton didn't make much money while in the home, nor did Monty. The second floor held the showers, where once again they bathed in shifts according to a scheduled day and gender. She didn't stand for peeping toms and nobody cared to test her. She was the kind of woman that it would hurt more to disappoint her than to make her angry. The rest contained on the floors was almost like a motel, a wooden banister circled the floor, where you could look up the the next story but not down to the first along with the dozen rooms or so, each holding a dry erase board that stated the names, and ages of the people who lived inside. Ashton, Warren and Grace were in adjoining rooms on the second floor since they had been there longer than almost anybody else. The newest people to come in got the rooms on the top floor, and the closer to the kitchen that they got, tenure went up. Much to his dismay he and Grace got their letters to Hogwarts Galaxia in Austria while Warren was accepted to Hogwarts in London. Which only made their love story all that more tragic and made him all the more sick.
None of the children much cared about shuffling rooms as people were adopted out, they liked getting to a new room and finding whatever had been left behind by the previous tenant under mattresses or hidden in the floor boards or the backs of closets. The boys rooms were the most coveted due to the fact that theirs led to the crawlspace, hiding between the first and second floor, where the plumbing and electrical wires were. It was perfect for hiding things behind the pipes, something that Ashton would grow to love as he became older, and Warren would as well. They were thirteen by the time that they had worked all the way into the room next to the showers, Grace still in the room next to theirs, and it had loose floor boards that had been pried up over the years by the countless children who had lived there before them. Baseball cards, stashed miniature bottles of liquor and countless other tiny treasures were acquired by the boys in their newest, and last room. At least they were done shuffling. While they only occupied the room during the summers because they were attending school full time. Even though Monty was two years older than Ashton, it never seemed to come between them as they became just as close to Ashton as Warren was. It was a slow process, but Monty was sort of his role model of sorts. He was into all sorts of bad things, it was appealing at the time. He was the one who introduced Ashton to smoking, and brought the girls around, he was skilled in the art of seduction and always brought Ashton around whenever he was picking up new ones. Schooling the impressionable teen how to treat women to get them to go home with them and the ways to smooth over even the worst of arguments. He was everything that Ashton thought that he wanted to be. He always included Ashton, which was integral because the older that they got, the more into each other that Warren and Grace became. Monty even introduced him the girl that Ashton eventually lost his virginity to at the age of fifteen underneath the playground in the backyard. Things were going pretty good, even if he didn't see his self proclaimed 'family' often.
He didn't have much money, but Mama O managed to scrape enough money together and got them their first set of school books second hand, impressing upon all of them that they needed to try as hard as they could in school, and work if it was at all possible. Monty had already been in attendance for over a year and was able to pass his books down to Warren since he too, was attending school at Hogwarts primary in London. Luckily for him, his fathers connections paid for everything for the two of them. It killed Ashton that he was losing the two people that he considered to be his brothers in the same day and that he was going to be stuck a world away from his mother with a girl that he blamed for ruining his friendship and therefore his life. Grace was sorted into Ravenclaw while he was sorted into Slytherin, glad to finally be away from her and have her living in a whole seperate part of the castle, she seemed to make friends quickly and did very well in all of her classes while he floundered, once again landing himself in detention more than he should and falling in with the wealthy people in his house. Most of the boys that he shared a dorm with were privileged pure blooded wizards who had grown up together and around other witches and wizards, something that was brand new to him. Yet, instantly he begun to renounce his muggle ways, he stayed at the castle over the holidays, only returning home to America during the summer holiday. Since he had spent so long around boys who had money and liked to play the same sort of mental games that he did, he did everything that he could to fit in, overcompensating for lost time and spreading rumors about himself to make himself sound like a better person. Well, a more Slytherin During the summer Holidays, Warren and Grace practically lived in the same mind, making up for the year that they had spent apart and rereading all the letters that had been sent to one another, being so adorable it was gross. He took the time to cling to Monty, he started trading in drugs and gambling while at home, sex with women and pretending to be older than he was emotionally ready for.
During summer of his fourth year,(third for Grace) Grace was officially adopted. While they only saw each other during the summers, they still had to make the most happen in the few months that they were together. From that day on, everything changed. They had waited for months for her to come back to the home, expecting her to stick to the pact that they had made in infancy just like they had done for her, even if he didn't want to admit it, Grace was still family to him. Yet, she never came back. She wrote explaining that 'This family was different' and that 'she was really a part of them, it just felt right' she abandoned them. She had broken the heart of the love of her life and alienated the only real family that she had ever had, and was likely to ever have again. Warren was heart broken and devastated. Warren started to distance himself from everybody and everything. He became silent, stopped writing the poems and music that had been his life for so long. He didn't answer a single one of her letters, while his grades never faltered, he was a shell of a man. Hollow, the smiles and easy laughter he had filled his life with, the music that came from his soul was gone. He acted like he was nothing without her. He had spent his whole life being a part of another person, and he wasn't doing well on the search to find himself. Without Ashton knowing, Monty started to get drugs for Warren, sneaking them into the orphanage late at night with his family connections. During their times at school, it was easier, he started to slip, missing more classes, becoming more and more like what Monty had turned Ashton into. While Ashton was still at the place he thought that Monty couldn't do anything wrong, he didn't see what was going on with Warren. He just wasn't willing to see why his friend had changed, wanting to believe that now that Grace was gone, things would go back to the way they were supposed to be, even better they could replace Grace with Monty. It was a perfect plan. Ashton started to hang around Monty whenever his family came to visit him, getting to know people. It wasn't until Warren was getting shipped off to rehab at the age of sixteen that the extent of his addiction was clear. Monty did his best to keep Ashton from knowing much about it, claiming that there were 'bigger plans' for him than there was for Warren. But Warren was his first and best friend. He couldn't help but blame Grace for breaking his friend, Warren hadn't ever really gotten over their relationship. While Warren finished his schooling by correspondence, he severed all ties to his American life, and since Ashton was at school with Grace, he cut off Ashton as well.
Monty stole Ashton away then, and they both ran away from the orphanage entirely, whenever he wasn't at school he was either crashing in a bar or other peoples couches, and in turn was how he met Geoff. The man that he would eventually work for. Monty however took a turn for the worse and started crime as a way to make ends meet. Working the underground poker tables, the pool scene and he was the major bookie for almost all of the Quidditch bets placed. He was making quiet the name for himself. After a few years he was caught and taken to Azkaban. For a short span, whenever he was released for 'good behavior' (or a really large bribe, the stories varied) he fell underground, and Ashton hadn't heard from him since. Ashton was fifteen whenever he started working at bars, he was graced with mature looks and since the drinking age in Europe was so much younger than it was in the states, he had no trouble getting into bars and learning how to bartend, he was starting to learn the art of manipulation. While his temper still often got the worst of him, he was learning how to pay the younger, more intelligent students to do the work for him in the subjects that he didn't like. He started to make less and less presence in classes and more wandering around the halls, while he did attend all the school functions, he preferred to live in the night scene than rise early enough to go to class and put in the effort of actually doing his homework in most classes. He had his friends turn in the assignments for him while he slept in till noon each afternoon. It seemed like normal practice for the men in his house, it wasn't often than any of them came in before midnight on any given day either. His grades were alright, though not top of his class by any means. He had put many notches in his bed post and built up an impressive tolerance for Whiskey. It was what he was going to reflect on in school, not bothering to make any lasting relationships, save one.
He me Georgina Watson in his sixth year at Galaxia. She was unlike anything he had ever seen before, and not just because she was a dancer and therefore could contort her body into dozens of positions that before her he had only dreamed about. She was beautiful and elegant, she had class and the nerve to turn him down more than once, more importantly, she was happy to keep coming back to him and not wanting any strings of her own. Little did he know that she was sinking her claws into him with no intention of ever letting go. They worked in the same club, Tripp and had hooked up countless times in the store room and the bathrooms. She had been to his apartment and his dorm. He was happy to keep her coming back, but had no intention of slowing his pace down while he was in his prime. She had gotten angry one night whenever she spotted him sneaking some other little blond wench into the store room at Tripp and that was whenever her real intentions became clear, ultimatums were made, and he didn't choose her. Work from that point became a living hell. She sabotaged his shifts and stole his tips, stopped delivering his homework assignments. Yet, despite her obvious bitterness he missed the times that they had together. Without knowing it, fell into a tragic love story of his own. They were nothing more than the occasional fling for the first few months. Dating on and off as was convenient or him. She wanted to get more serious and started being around more and more. He had never once Called her his girlfriend, but she made a point of giving herself the title and he just didn't refuse, she called him her boyfriend and made plans for them on the weekend. Often, he didn't have anything better to do so he went along with it. Things rapidly fell into a routine, while he started to develop real feelings for her, the farther that he pushed her away and claimed that he didn't want to fall into the same old thing all the time, that he was determined to sow his wild oats while he was still young enough to get them. Luckily for him, she stuck around, refusing to leave without extraction like a barnacle on the bottom of a sinking ship. He didn't consider her to be his 'girlfriend' until he met with her father and found himself taking a beating for her. It was shortly after that he learned of their history together. She had been abused as a child, it was what drove her mother into the arms of the man that she eventually left her husband for and remarried. Her father, Phillip has repeatedly beaten her and molested her on a semi regular basis, her mother too, was abused by the power hungry businessman. He had gone with Georgie for emotional support, but it seemed that her father disagreed with her dating, much less dating somebody who had the nerve to stand up to him. The satisfaction he got by punching that man in the face was more than enough to solidify the suspicion that he actually liked her, that night Phillip had confronted him, asking if he really did love his daughter, and it had scared him enough to leave Georgie alone to recover in the hospital while he lick his wounds at home, mulling things over. After that night, he had warmed up to Georgie just enough that he didn't mind if she spent the night in his home, or took a shower the following morning, even if she made him breakfast. It was a huge step for him that over time he would grow to regret and love. He moved out of the dorms the summer of his sixth year at Galaxia and moved full time into the apartment above Geoff's bar, he was working three jobs. Two at night bar tending, one as a dishwasher and going to school more often. He saw his friends at his weekend, and entertained Georgie and his other various female friends at his apartment whenever he saw fit. He had never really gotten along with the men in his dorm so his own place was best suited for him.
His seventh and final year at Galaxia had been a tough one, he and Georgie were practically living together, and his best friend at the time, Lavinia (Vinny) moved in with them into the spare bedroom. He kept on his apartment for as long as it financially made sense for him to do so, which was a cause of constant strain and fighting in their relationship whenever Georgie learned that not only was he refusing to sleep in the same room as her, that he wanted his own room in the house, that he had kept his apartment to entertain his female friends even then. She had walked in on them once that had started their first real break up, in which she ran off and slept with his former roommate and almost friend, Jackson Caulfield. He lost most respect and trust for her that day, and she decided that it would have been best for her to keep away from him until he learned how to take the same as he gave to her on so often an occasion. He was forced to move out of his apartment, and sublet it to another male and move into her house full time. The pressure that had built between them from the lack of trust and mind games until the night of Spookfest '07. He had taken Vinny instead of her and she had gone with her female friends. He and Vinny had become tapped at the top of one of the rides inside of an enchanted Jack O' Lantern for hours, and he only could think of one way to pass the time besides abusing the bottle that he had hidden in his jacket. Alcohol makes people do very stupid things and Vinny ended up cashing her V card to Ashton that night, of course since secrets never stay hidden for very long, it was only days until Georgie found out and kicked Vinny out of house. Since she was his best friend and he wanted to defend her, he left as well. He and Vinny moved into his apartment for a short while before they were asked to move back into the house, all seemed to be forgotten. He graduated Galaxia on time much to his surprise. Their relationship was hanging on by a thread, little did he know that at this time, Georgie was three months pregnant with his child, something that she never did tell him herself, but that he was forced to learn about from her little sister. Shortly after graduation was whenever the Dark Lord attacked during the Ministers birthday party. Of course it was the biggest event of the season, they had gone together but lost each other in the fray, he had been sparring with the Gryffindor male that was the bane of his existence whenever the pair were attacked and almost murdered by a rabid female werewolf. They spent a whole week in the hospital, stuck next to a man he hated and upon release from the hospital signed up for Auror training shortly after. Whenever he arrived home he found out about the baby and that she had lost it as well during the fray, their relationship ended days later. He was too angry with her for not telling him about the child in the first place, as well as not allowing him to protect her during the fight, or not leaving at the very first sign of trouble. As if their relationship needed one more strain, she was diagnosed with stage one cancer in her right lung a month later. Not wanting to be with a sick woman, and not wanting to fight every single day with her about the fact that she would be better only if he would allow him to take her to the wizarding hospital, but she was too stubborn. She insisted that she could fight it off by herself, and the she was strong enough. He disagreed, telling her that he was not going to stand by and watch her kill herself, so she left to live with her mother in Holland. It took three months of him living by himself in the huge house that she had left him in for him to realize that he needed her around, he needed their fighting and her constant nagging, it kept him motivated. He had stopped smoking in her absence as a sign of good faith for her. Having the willpower to do so was what gave him the strength to propose to her. He proposed to her after tricking her back to the house on evening in June, she accepted.
He and Georgie were going through a very straining engagement whenever Auror training commenced, he was due to start an internship shortly after their wedding was scheduled and he was doing everything he could so spend as much time away from her as possible. Her cancer was progressing and month after month she refused to go to the healers and have it taken care of. She was just far too stubborn. So he threw himself into training, signing up for every internship and training opportunity that he could get his hands on, but didn't see too many results from it at first. Their wedding day was supposed to be the best day of his life, however it was anything but. Not only had he gotten cold feet and postponed the whole event at least three times, on the day that he was actually going to go through with it, they were gate crashed by her father, who had not been invited in the first place. He came in boasting that Georgie only belonged to him and that Ashton wasn't worthy to be lint in his pocket, things had gotten very physical, and whenever Phillip attempted to drag Georgie away by her hair, Ashton stopped him, they thought it was the end of him and he disappeared. While she was not happy that he had been forced to say his vows with a black eye and a fat lip, she was happy with what he had done for her, and what it meant for their future. Things were good for awhile after that. Their honeymoon was spent in Paris, the place that was one of the few good memories from Georgie’s childhood. They conceived a second child, one that Ashton read parenting books about, took her to all of her appointments and was even able to convince her that she needed to go to the healers this time. Since she was in remission things were going wonderfully, they created a nursery in their home and picked out names, she made it to 32 weeks. They were destined to have a bouncing baby boy and Ashton had been over the moon, until fates cruel hand stepped in again. Robbing them of any chance of being happy together again. Shortly after the man’s interruption of their wedding he started to make more of a presence in their lives, and one night, he had appeared not caring for the swollen abdomen of his daughter. He came in while Ashton was at work and Georgie was on bed rest, defenseless to his attacks. He came at her, breaking into the house and beating her down before forcing himself once final time on Ashton's wife. She managed to summon a healer who patched her up in the hospital, but her body had been under too much duress, the beating had caused her so much stress that she lost their second attempt at a child, she had been forced into premature labor and delivered a sleeping child, a son who would have been the most beautiful being in the world. They buried him in the back yard, marked with a marked by an itty bitty tombstone with the name 'Christopher Adam Wentworth' and the number 32, for how many weeks she had been. He came home to find a note had been left by one of the healers, he went straight to the hospital and was told the story by a distraught Georgina.
Something snapped in him, a part of his soul had died. The rage that overcame him, enveloping his whole mind and body was all that he could see. It wasn't the first time that the man had found them and broken in, somehow circumventing all of the cloaking and protection spells that they had in place. Yet, this one had cost them the most. He should have stayed for his wife, helped her heal and grieve together yet he could only see one thing. The blood of Phillip and how he wanted to own his head as a trophy for his wall. He hunted Phillip down, murdering the man.It wasn't until the fog had lifted and he was left bloodied and alone in the mans office, standing over the mangled body that the gravity of what he had done sunk in. He wasn't sorry, a life for a life, but he had never thought that he was capable of an act so cruel. He didn't have the heart to tell Georgie exactly under what circumstances that her father had died, nor how long he had dragged it out, but he apparated to her side moments later, although she was attempting to heal, she came through for him, urging that he disappear to her mothers house until she could think of something to do. He disappeared to Holland while she covered up the mess. Ashton had always been a violent person with a strong temper, but he wasn't a murderer. Georgie inherited the home and all of her fathers money and worldly possessions. They sold his company and paid of the house with the money from it. They were a little stronger, but once more her body failed to withstand the stress, the cancer came back, but this time it was stronger and had spread to both of her lungs. After the death of little Christopher she was a hollow woman, it had happened to his friend Warren in his youth, a loss of that magnitude was bound to leave a hell of a scar. She didn't even try to heal, she didn't go to the healers, and she skipped her chemo treatments. She had gone into remission a total of two times during her life, during the first time she was in remission her father had tracked them down again, this time breaking into their house, breaking four of Ashton's ribs while he was sleeping and kidnapping his daughter in an effort to keep them apart. Whenever he tracked her down and got her back. The second was after the death of their child and her father, she gave up. Georgie passed away April 17, 2008 after being in remission for what they thought was three months, but they had somehow missed a stage 4 tumor encroaching on her lungs an passed away shortly after, it was the 1 year anniversary of the date their son was supposed to be born. Whenever Georgie passed he was placed in Species Control training and due to the fact that he was one of the few in his class that was able to lie easily and already had a cover story, he was selected to go into secondary training for a new group.
He moved to Holland, at least he left it as his permanent address. He traveled around most of the globe in search of creatures. He was the only one doing the ministry's dirty work. He did better than could have ever expected, he was so thorough because he refused to face the fact that his wife had left him and he was once more left alone. He was bitter and cold, which was perfect for his position and he had no problem twisting peoples arms in order to get whatever it was that he needed from them. He had done so well that after three years of almost nothing but field work, he was given a humble pay raise and a promotion. Ashton had just been reassigned to his 'home' of Austria and begun working in the ministry offices here. More to come as it happens...
[/blockquote]Ashton isn't exactly sure where he was born, but he was told that he had been dropped off on the front steps of the Ophelia orphanage, located in Salem, Mass as just an infant.
